  • Ep. 247 | Dealing with TDS and Fear

This election has revealed a few issues that we as a society have to deal with, ever so often, specifically every 4 years. How do we deal with people who are suffering from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and FEAR of what his presidency will bring. This episode of the podcast starts with Pastor Alex talking about advice that he shared on Facebook in dealing with each other after the election. Then, I'm joined by my good friend and Mental Health Coach, Chance Potts, to discuss HOW to deal with the FEAR that people are experiencing as a result of the election outcome.

Alex Bryant Ministries is focused on helping people be reconciled to God, then within one's own self, and finally being reconciled to our fellow man in order to become disciples.

  • Ep. 246 | Amendment 3 Aftermath

Last Tuesday, Missourians narrowly voted to allow abortion to be legal in our state. This is very disappointing. I'd hoped that the fine people of Missouri would be the first state to say NO to codifying abortion in their state constitution. In this episode of the podcast I examine which areas of our state were the primary ones to vote Yes to this terrible amendment. The results may or may not shock you. But this discussion is definitely going to ruffle a few feathers when I talk about the demonic plan of Planned Parenthood and one of their inspirational founders, Margaret Sanger.

Today is election day. Millions of Americans will cast our vote to determine which candidate we want to lead us for the next four years. During this episode of the podcast, Pastor Alex is joined by Pastor Tyler Padgitt, the Lead Pastor of Courageous Church. Pastor Tyler reminds us of WHY it's important for Christians to vote and encourages us to vote for the party platform that more closely aligns with our biblical worldview. Pastor Tyler shares several personal stories that have helped shape why he votes the way that he does. This is a great episode that will challenge, encourage, and bless you all at the same time.

  • Ep. 244 | Black Church vs. White Church

I've noticed a difference between the way black and white churches operate when it comes to allowing political candidates to share their message in the church during political season. In this episode of the podcast, Pastor Alex evaluates why that seems to be the case. It seems that black churches are a little more bold in inviting candidates to speak in front of the congregation. Why is that? We will talk about it during this episode of the podcast.

  • Ep. 241 | Voting as Christians

Some people think that politics and faith don't mix, but I would say that misunderstands God's nature and His intent for us as citizens. Voting publicly recognizes that we submit to the authority of the political system in our nation as established by God (Romans 13:1-7). Voting makes a difference the way a grain of salt makes a difference, and that is how we are to influence our society for good (Matthew 5:13). This episode talks about why Christians need to vote!

  • Ep. 240 | Backyard Orphans with Eric Porter

There are over 400,000 children in U.S. foster care and 350,000 churches in the U.S. If every church had someone in it who would adopt one child, we could solve this problem. During this Episode of the podcast, pastor Alex has a conversation with his old friend Eric Porter, the CEO and founder of Backyard Orphans. James 1:27 says, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this, to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Backyard Orphans guides church leaders to develop a foster care, adoption, and support ministry.

In this episode of the podcast, we will play Alex's message followed by a conversation with his old college football buddy, Derrick McBride. Enjoy the conversation.
