This week, in a wild turn of events I found out that Lycoris Recoil was released by A-1 Pictures in the same season as Engage Kiss but different that gacha tie-in, Lycoris Recoil presents us with well animated firefights, interesting story concepts, endearing characters and gorgeous art.

This episode I will discuss an anime that had some considerable hype near release but for some reason went quiet right after that. Knowing the track record of the studio, A-1 Pictures, when it comes to original anime, I felt compelled to check Engage Kiss out to see whether the studio has improved on its original releases or the quality work is reserved to just adaptations.
