What do you think happens when a country’s biggest icons for the Royal Family?
Something like the Kim Kardashian effect.
There is a bit of jealousy that you aren’t them and want to be them, and there’s also something interesting about them that makes you give them your attention.
During Amer’s visit to Jordan, he reflects with Austin and John on the culture he experienced in Amman. Everyone is playing the social game - everyone asks you where are you ate, who you spoke to, is checking if your license plate starts with a 10, talking about you and talking to you about other people. Almost never in a good light either.
