Today’s story might seem a little strange. In fact, when the people in this story complain you migh teven think they have a good REASON to complain. You might think that what happened was NOT FAIR!

But remember, this is a story about something on earth that the people Jesus told it to would know about. They would know about getting hired to do a job and getting paid.

BUT Jesus was actually telling a story about HEAVEN! He was saying that everyone who asks God to forgive their sins and who chooses to follow Jesus will be forgiven of their sins and be part of God’s family, no matter who they are.
