We kick this week's episode off with a discussion about Humble Monk's recent GoFundMe plea for help in moving their brewery down the street, and the possible legality of the rewards that they were offering.

The episode then gets extremely derailed as I take a stab at discussing old beer on local shelves (and who's fault it actually is when it happens).

From there I quickly started to talk about the price of flights in your local taproom before getting side tracked again about old beer.

Fittingly enough... we ended things by talking (or shouting) about the Bengals. Who Dey!

We're kicking things off by talking about the new food program at Swine City in Fairfield. To celebrate their hot dog restaurant, we're going to drink a six-pack of their hot dog-themed beers.

This will be interesting.

We'll also talk about some label approvals that came through over the last month.

Family vacation... there's a lot to be said about it, especially when it involves deer and bison slobbering all over your car, arms, and children. I would have much rather been sitting in a taproom trying to find more local beer in Sandusky, Ohio. It's all about compromise, as I've been told... and we did.

My trip away wasn't all bad, though - I found a couple of new (to me) breweries, some great bars, and after a day at Put-In-Bay, maybe a new vacation spot.

I've been sitting in the middle of a lot of news stories, a lot of conversations, and a lot of deep thoughts about what success and failure actually mean. What does it mean for the breweries that we love? Where does what we want and what they want have crossover? What does any of that matter when it's "just beer" at the end of the day?

We're back from a great long weekend of camping with the family - which means things are a little "out of sorts" around the house (when are they not?)

On this week's episode, I had the live audience choose a beer for me, although - when I was disappointed with their choice, we all called an audible and switched things up. After a long process of trying to figure out how old my beer was... we finally dove into the news of the week.

Seltzer Smash is back at March First - and I wanted to make sure you knew about it for all your 'Fizzhead' friends that need to get their seltzer fix.

In addition, there are some new breweries under construction around town that I felt we needed an update about.

To wrap it up - we had plenty of label approvals that were prime for some quick discussion.
