Not only do we have some fun label approvals to talk about this week, but we've also got some really wild news about some distilling "stuff" in town.

With that... I think it's only fitting that we not only drink a cocktail, but that I let those folks listening live choose the cocktail ingredients for me - this'll be interesting!

This week's episode was recorded "even more live" from Northern Row Brewery in OTR. They host a Kolsch night once a month, and I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to things like that. We still talked about all the good stuff from the week that you'd expect, including the pure happiness that comes from a brewery's grand opening celebration, as well as the nerdy joy that I get from Narrow Path, adding the beer engine taps.

This week's episode of the weekly pint starts a little rough because I'm a doofus. I hit the button WAY before I was ready to go live, so I got to start the show flustered, which is always fun...

We hit the ground running, though, as I cracked open a crowd-chosen can of Seventh Son's Tuk Tuk lager (which was great) and dove right into some label approvals for a few bourbons that you might want to keep your eyes open for in the near future.

From there, we talk about my recent experiences at my first FCC game - and how I screwed up the entire drinking experience there. We talked about some upcoming food in taprooms and how we all collectively saved one of our local breweries from closing (go us!)

It's a whirlwind of a show that I'm still recovering from... I think you'll like listening as much as I did making it!

The Weekly Pint is more than a live show that airs on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter every Monday evening around 9:30 pm - it's a happy hour where we all get together over a drink and talk about life. There's always excitement in Cincy Beer!

Oh man... my whole house seems like it's sick - and it's been brutal. Luckily for us, the point of this show is to kick back and have a drink together - and I'm gonna do EXACTLY that. We've gotta talk about Amp House Brewing selling their space back to the city (and officially cancelling their plans to open) - The Moes Tavern pop-up bar in Loveland - and for the first time in far too long - label approvals!

It gets a little frustrating sometimes - there are a lot of projects that I'm in the middle of that I REALLY want to talk about on this podcast but can't because they aren't far enough long - or the details are still being worked out.

It's all top secret sometimes... but we can still have a drink together!

There are a ton of great things happening pretty much every weekend here in Cincinnati's craft beer scene, and this weekend was no exception, with a couple of anniversary parties that I "had" to make my way out to.

That means that I had a couple of great beers that I want to talk about!

The news that 16 Lots might be closing their doors soon means that it's a great week to head down there and do a show. I sat down with Chris Mitchell and Del Hall to talk about what's happening, and what we might be able to do about it!

What better way to celebrate a show that is always live's 200th episode, than by making it EVEN MORE LIVE? We headed out to West Side Brewing to get together and do the same thing we do together every Monday night... Drink!

On this week's episode I finally tackle it... the ULTIMATE Cincinnati Oktoberfest Beer. I take every single packaged local Oktoberfest beer, and I mix them all together into the perfect blend... then I shove a red-hot poker in it... because why not? It was live, it was a special pop-up episode... it was a ton of fun!
