When it gets cold outside, I just sort of want to dive deep into my beer cellar... so that's exactly what we'll do tonight. We'll drink some schnapps, drink our beervent beer... and then dive into a big old Imperial Stout - because why not?

The whole time, we'll talk about local news like Santacon, and a sale that a lot of folks really think is a little more than just a good deal.

This one is late - and I know it's going to be late. Hung up with working obligations, that's just how it's gotta be this week... and I don't really like it. On the PLUS side, today kicks off Beervent, so I'll hurry to get my first beer in before midnight, and then we'll talk about how I'll make it up to you throughout December!

This week is my favorite holiday - Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday to celebrate, and it's also the beginning of another one of my favorite seasons to drink in. What better way to celebrate than with a show that most certainly ISN'T a show?

On this week's episode, we drink some Voltage Peppermint Schnapps, A beer that is VERY seasonal (Decorative Gourd from Seventh Son), and then dive into the beer cellar to try a 2019 Straight Jacket from Revolution.

I keep reading articles telling me that craft beer is dead, the some kind of boom or bubble is bursting and that we're all doomed. Is that true? Also... why am I drinking Voltage Peppermint schnapps before the holiday season? What can is under the wrap? There's a lot to unpack on this week's episode!

The title might have NOTHING to do with what we ended up talking about, but that doesn't mean that we don't have a lot to talk about on this week's episode. Quite the opposite, actually. I start things off (after the regular technical difficulties) with 'The Schnappening' that was a little sweet... not peaches... but candy-like and delicious. From there we talked about everything from what's happening at Bad Tom Smith in Madisonville to the current status of 'Intoxicating Hemp' here in Ohio. The upcoming Halloween celebration wraps things up for another action packed week!

Here's what I drank this week: Kruskovac Pear Liqueur, Streetside Strawberry Jelly Donut Demogorgon.

I realized earlier in the day that I hadn't had a cocktail on the show (that isn't a show) for a very long time... so I figured I'd remedy that on this week's episode. I ALSO realized that in addition to not having one, I'm also a lousy bartender. These two facts combined together result in the episode's live audience creating a cocktail for me - and it ends up... interesting.

To keep things a little tastier, I ended up by cracking into a can of Urban Artifact's 'Fall Bear' brown ale... a NOT sour beer from the brewery that way too many people think aren't able to make a not sour beer.

It was a great episode!
