I'm back from a long weekend away with the family, I have a bunch of bug bites to show for it, and I am feeling a little nervous as I head into my "busy season". It sounds like a good recipe for a great episode of the show that isn't a show!

Summertime brings plenty of drinking experiences, and plenty of beers that suddenly taste great... or maybe they tasted great the whole time? I don't know... but we'll figure it out by drinking a bunch of them. We also talk about what inspired this whole rabbit hole I've been tumbling down, a beer from Sierra Nevada.

It's been a heck of a week. My oldest broke her arm this weekend - that was fun - and the news of Ohio Eagle closing, or selling, or SOMEthing is fresh. It sounds like we should probably crack open a drink and talk about it all!

I drink some Glazed Donut vodka, that was gross - some Malort Spritz, that was weird - and a GREAT unfiltered lager from Chicago!

I titled the episode before we went live, so cut me some slack. I didn't actually talk about burgers as much as I thought I would. Instead, I talked about label approvals, and drank some of the most terrible "stuff' that I have had in a very long time.

Part family vacation, part excuse to figure out if you can ACTUALLY drink in Gatlinburg and enjoy the process (hint, you can) - I just got back from a few days in the mountains, and while I have some great content coming from that - first we have to have a drink together!

It's a hot one out there, and it's put me in the mood for a good Gin and Tonic. What local gin makes the BEST gin and tonic, though? I'll roll through a nice little selection of them to figure out what MY pick is!

We're coming off a great Father's Day weekend, and then we were hit with the news that BrewDog was closing their taproom here in Cincinnati - actually, that it had already closed, more accurately.

There's a lot to talk about, and some weird stuff to drink while we do!
