West Coast IPA - it used to get beer drinkers talking because they were shocked by it's bold personality. Today, it gets people talking because so few places are making them, and some of the ones that are making soft, hazy versions of the style that just AREN'T West Coast IPAs. The river is UP. In fact, the water is so high that a few of our breweries are either underwater or unable to open due to flooded streets. It's a great opportunity to remind us to support the places that we love, especially when things get rough out there.

I'm home alone... well... I have the Gnome-dog, but things are surprisingly quiet over here. It's a great excuse (and I'm always looking for one) to open up a beer and have a few drinks!

It's not a show... but if it were, it would be a fun one! We started with 'The Schnappening' and cracked open a bottle of Darna's Amaro, which ended up being absolutely delicious!
