The Weekly Substandard Expanded Universe

the boys talk taylor swift's new album and dicks before talking Nolan's final batman.

World domination is most certainly NOT off the table. Plus fun banter

the boys talk about aquiring a car and then C. Nolan's second Batman entry. what a slog.

"The boys are back in town"......is the title or a least some of the lyrics to a semi popular song from an indeterminate period of time ago and really has nothing to do with this episode or the podcast. The SSEU boys are most certainly not back!

The counting crew is back, the guys have released an episode - with the exception of almost every single week - every single week for the past 5 years. They continue their Nolan series picking up where they left off last week - the last week they released an episode. It was recorded right after the Grammys (2025)

In classic Nolan-tradition, the boys attack his filmography in the order that it is supposed to be discussed: out of order. Here is Batman Begins and a confused discussion about the BAFTAs. Not least how it is supposed to be pronounced.

Ryan has some interesting experiences at work and the guys (some of them) have watched another Nolan-movie. Highly unclear if they understood all the plot points.

The Following? Following? What's this movie called? Jason joins us with a quiz, Thomas gets too drunk, and Chris and Ryan disagree on a movie rating.

Stuff your chimneys! We are back! After a scheduled and carefully planned break, the SSEU podcast is back spreading Christmas cheer. Chris is concerned about the working conditions at the North Pole, Thomas manages to go an entire episode without swooning over Anna Kendrick, and Ryan thinks it is 2019. And does anyone actually know how many Die Hard movies there are?

How is your personal hygiene? Chris has discovered a new tool to help you look your best for everyone you meet. We also discuss the key components of a trip to Austin and Thomas is celebrating (for no apparent reason) with a bottle of bubbly).
