Why Listen? In my journal practice, I write down what I call “heart taps”, which are the things that speak directly to my heart. Here are a few of the heart tap moments that I wrote down from this interview with MORGAN KLINE:

****HEART TAPS FROM THIS EPISODE**** 

• Your mind goes where your body leads, and not the other way around. Regular movement and exercise are essential for mental and physical well-being.
• To overcome habitual negative thoughts and behaviors, identify your belief system and make sure it aligns with your true self, not societal expectations. Avoid letting negative self-talk hold you back.
• Just Show Up! Even on tough days, showing up is crucial even if you show up at 50%
• Embrace curiosity by asking smart questions. When faced with uncertainty, don't hesitate to ask experts what questions you should be asking. This opens doors to new learning and understanding. Nobody knows it all.
• Place value on community and connection. Surround yourself with positive, like-minded individuals who support your growth. This will not only help you in your fitness journey but also in other areas of life!

• It's important to create spaces that bring you joy and reflect your personal style. Take the time to find unique pieces that resonate with you rather than rushing to fill the space. The process is as rewarding as the final result!
• Exploring different creative outlets, even unconventional ones, can be incredibly fulfilling and may lead you to unexpected paths of personal growth and innovation. Take the time to tap into your unique creative outlet.
• Balancing work and personal life is essential for mental and physical well-being. Recognize when you need to take a step back, reassess, and make adjustments to ensure a healthy alignment. Be kind to yourself and know there is no such thing as a perfect balance.

• Who you surround yourself with in business, love and community matters deeply! Build a community of mutual love, respect and support and the quality of your living will increase exponentially.

THE GUEST:
Vickie and Brooke Rawlins began in 2014 as an online-based shop headquartered in sunny San Diego, CA. Two short years later we planted roots as a brick and mortar store in beautiful Door County, WI. Vicki (or ‘V’ as everyone calls her) is the artist behind our unique flower art made completely from Mother Nature. While V creates her art, Brooke manages most other aspects of the business, and we have a lot of help from talented people in between! Fun fact: the name Sister Golden comes from the America song Sister Golden Hair. The title of that song was the inspiration behind a nickname Brooke’s dad gave her when she was little, and the name just stuck.

1. Sometime we just stumble into our purpose when we are just open to trying something new. 
2. Find projects that fit into your life or season to reduce the resistance. 
3. New word #1: chunkable. Consider picking projects that can be or chunked into little bits of time (5 minutes or less) throughout the day vs needing a large block of time. 
4. One conversation can change the trajectory or your life and theirs. 
5. Pick a project that you believe you can sustain and be excited about and that fits into your already established routines .
6. New word #2: placefulness…which means being aware of where you are.

3. This a great question to ask that he said during the interview: “What’s getting in the way?”
4. Work life balance and Employee engagement are not what we think they are anymore. 
5. Reality: No one can be in bloom, all of the time. 
6. You can have growth, even in the darkest of seasons.
7. Which of work-life-bloom personas are you right now? blooming, budding, stunted, or renewal. 
8. Loneliness is an epidemic. 
9. Reminder: All seasons are just a moment in time. 
10. 40% of the time you will be blooming. 60% you won’t. What you decide to do during the 60% is important.

6. You have to really work on not getting burned out.
7. Place importance on the really important things: people. 
8. Just show up! 
9. You have to live in balance. Some good food and some good for you food. 90/10 rule.

2. Transitions have a lot to teach us if we will just sit still long enough to learn.
3. Busy is such a safe place to hide. 🙈 (I resemble this remark)
4. Don’t get stuck in the wheel of: “I have to, I need to, I should.”
5. Take a good hard look at your boundaries and walls. 
6. One of the best things we can do is to make time for play on your calendar. Schedule it!
7. What if our number one job it’s just to stay open and connected to God/source? 
8. We tend to make what we believe we are worth.
9. Never apologize for or feel the need to apologize for investing in yourself. You are worth it!

3. If you are suffering with depression, try doing some simple acts of kindness, because it can literally change your brain chemistry. 
4. A garden is a great place to keep you grounded. 
5. The hope, resilience, challenges, joy and abundance I feel when I step into my garden is my “secret sauce”.
6. We all have a roll to play. 
7. Look for the magical moments after someone has passed. 
8. You have permission to slow down.
9. If you are going start a garden, begin with herbs, lettuce, or radishes. 
10. Love her motto: Grow more in 2024!
