It's already our 10th episode here on The Wellness Rock and we are so excited about it so we are bringing you an episode full of emotions this week!
Here in this episode, autodidactic Jackie Beauchamp shares with us her expertise in emotions. She is a certified Emotions Mentor Coach, a certified Life Coach, a Christ-Centered Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and an Essential Oil Educator.
Throughout this episode, she takes us through her struggles with perfectionism and her journey of becoming emotionally intelligent. She discusses how we have the option to either react in the moment or take a step back to process the feeling that we have and how we are going to act with that.
Mindfulness and self-awareness is a huge part of becoming emotionally intelligent and becoming the person God calls us to be. The nutrition we consume also has a huge take in how we process our emotions. Our bodies are created to be in a state of well, that is where our cells perform the best. When we fuel our bodies with healthy, diverse food and positivity, our bodies will naturally work better which allows us to give more to ourselves and others.
Trust the journey and enjoy the process she tells us. We are going to experience uncomfortableness but in that we will experience growth!
Bible verse highlighted: Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." This is important because without God's armor we are nothing. When we set our hearts and minds on him and keep him in the center, anything is possible!
