How do we show up at the table when we feel divided? The US election highlighted a fundamental division within the country. That core separation is a deep ache that can look like anger, blame, and fear. We all are going to be in a seat at the table at some point, whether it’s a holiday dinner table, a work table, or with friends, and we can’t tackle the divide from the mind. We have to dig a little deeper to find what heals division within us. 

Bridging the divide is complex because history is complex– just like complex trauma.  The way we heal trauma is not about continuing to shove history under the rug but rather acknowledging it, courageously facing it, and feeling what’s there to feel underneath the shame of it.  Bridging the divide starts from within us first.

A common teaching about manifesting is that your subconscious mind carries limited beliefs that send a signal out to the universe, and the universe responds.  Diving a bit deeper here into the energetic body, we have to look at the solar plexus or 3rd chakra area of the body because this “gut brain” holds subconscious fears that block you from actualizing your intentions, but also the worthiness to receive what it is you do desire.  Manifesting does not rely on changing thoughts alone.
