The stake wasn't cleared yesterday: so steady on! We've had 32cm in 24 hours but 16 overnight. Yesterday's high winds kept 7th and Peak from opening until late for a brief period. See ya up there!

Another 15cm! And it's Monday! LFG Baby!

The temperatures are a little cooler than yesterday (it was 0 degrees at the Rendezvous yesterday early arvo) and we have more snow incoming this afternoon and evening. The snow has been great and the crowds should be a lot quieter today: see you and every other local up there! ;)

I should add I'm sour about the margaritas because they were made with Jose Cuervo. Ha. I'll get over it.

What a surprise yesterday was with those blue skies eh?

3cm on the stake this morning and 70kmh+ southerly winds in the high alpine. We can expect flurries today and hopefully 10cm+ overnight.

It's the last day of operations for our Whistler cinema (which opened in 2002). See ya there!

Interesting vis yesterday eh? It looks to be much better already this morning: with flurries forecast early and a mix of sun and cloud again today. Here's hoping for 30 plus CMs (and more, obviously) starting Thursday eve and over the next few days but we'll see...

A flurry fell around 5am and we might see another flurry or two this morning, with cloudy skies and flat lighting anticipated again today. Yesterday was busy eh? I hope everyone working super hard over the holidays gets some much deserved down time over the next few days ^_^

Tonight should be another lovely afternoon and sunset and with upper Peak to Creek now groomed, ending your ski day with those Peak views really gets ya in the feels. Lower Franz's is groomed today too - huzzah!

I'm gonna gear up now for those fresh overnight - and still falling -centimetres ;)

Glacier chair opened yesterday and videos of the rescue of a stranded skier on the cliff band skiers right of Dakine - underneath the chair - are circulating! Photos of deployed Airbags from two whistler ski patrollers yesterday affirmed slabby, reactive conditions and they flew in the chopper to Heli bomb the Whistler Alpine after the size 3 avy in Whistler Bowl on Tuesday!

The Saddle is run of the day today! Happy Skiing ^_^

Cooler temperatures on the Mts today with 7cm of fresh: but Avy control yesterday released some large size 3 avalanches in bounds! O_o
