Brrrrrrrr! -28 windchill in the alpine with 40-60kmh winds?? Well, that makes me reassess my day, ha - how about you? It's Family Day and will likely be busy with bluebird skies regardless.

Alpine lifts are now open 30 minutes later (3pm except symphony, which is open until 2:30pm)! Whoop whoooooop.

February is flying by eh? Some snow is also gonna fly this weekend but with conservative estimates of just 5-10cm to fall over the next 24 hours or so.

There's a thick band of valley cloud this morning but clearer skies up top!

The valley Fog has dissipated today: it was gorgeous from above yesterday but a real bummer if you were stuck in the valley. Temps up top will feel cool again today with a northerly wind direction and winds of 30-40kmh this morning. The alpine high is forecast at 0c, but is currently -6/-7 at the Peaks (before wind chill).

Slap on some sun screen despite the cool temps - some goggle tans are looking strong already!! ;)

Warmer temperatures and sunnier skies arrive later today after yesterday's flurries. I'm going to make the most of it with some XC skiing and hope you enjoy the sunshine and spring conditions coming our way too! ^_^ It's as if Ullr heard all our lamentations for the loss of spring ring these past two years and delivered in January and Feb! Ha. What a joker!

No new snow and more spring skiing in the forecast... We're really going to appreciate the pow when it comes back, eh? ;)
