Yesterday's and today's more pronounced inverted Temps should be interesting to ski! -1/-2 circa 1600m but -12 in the valley: the snow might be best at low elevations and the alpine will likely be very wind effected. But hey, you don't know until you go ^_^

High winds in the Alpine again this morning: with you and I both hoping for the Whistler Alpine to crack. See ya up there! ^_^

This podcast episode was recorded a lot earlier than usual and is coupled with a lot of speculation on what lifts will open today: with high alpine winds continuing this morning but an ease in snowfall anticipated this afternoon, alongside a drop in temperatures: our Mountain staff teams are busting their asses to do all they can - understaffed across the board. Crystal was the highest elevation chair to open yesterday: I bet it was all time! With another 20cm today and snow still falling, expect a reset mid-mountain but with a total of 80cm in the past 24 hours, be safe and cautious and ride with buddies <3

Yesterday's inverted, milder MT temperatures of around -11 had me thinking I'd go for a few runs today between double shifts but the current alpine temps of -22 and winds of 50kmh have made me think again ;)

The weekend will see a low pressure front arrive with fresh snow though! ^_^ Wahoooo.

Well, 'warmer' isn't a word you want to use right now but it is less cold on the Mountain than in the Valley again today! But still... Brrrrrrrrr. I hope you're staying warm!

Brrrrrrr!!! It's official -21 in the village is the coldest temperature recorded on December 27th in Whistler Village! Don't just wrap up warm, stay indoors! Ha. Did you ski yesterday? Gnarly! Today will be marginally warmer with lighter winds but put some toe warmers in before you head up to avoid frost nip, seriously!
