Since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Disney has been the name in animation. But there is so much more out there. Today we speak with former industry man turned college professor Kelly Loosli about his time in LA and some of his favorite animated features. Then Jeff and Cole discus the different kinds of animation like stop motion, computer generated, rotoscoping, and of course traditional hand drawn as well. The Oscars will be giving their award for best animated feature AND short at the end of the month, so we also spend a little time talking about our favorite Pixar shorts. The Super Bowl was the big news in entertainment this week, even if you didn’t watch for the sports, there were commercials, trailers, and live music performances (even featuring a famous animated character).
