This fabulous conversation gave us priceless tips and advice on what we can do to give our kids the best start in school.
Whats fascinating is the myth busting around what children are and are not supposed to know, or be able to do by the time they reach certain school years, and how simple some of the concepts are that will really support your little one with their development.
As teachers and phonics experts, Jemma and Claire are now the founders of Sounds Fun Resources. Fabulous and fun materials that I myself have bought for my children to help them learn upper and lower case letters, letter and number formation and to assist their reading and understanding of phonics.
Their products range from activity books, to flash cards, posters and digital products. We love them, they are brilliantly crafted, super high quality and we recommend to you all.

In this episode with the fabulous Danusia Malina Derben, Mum to ten children, global podcaster, author, and CEO we learn some cracking tips.
The big question we all wonder is How?
How has she managed all of this?
An adopted convent school girl, Danusia bucked the hopes and plans her parents had for her by becoming a mother at 17. She went on to have nine more children, built an incredible career in academia and then her own super successful consultancy firm.
In recent years Danusia has published two books while securing No One in the global charts for her podcast Parents Who Think (previously named School for Mothers), and now produces her daughters award winning podcast as well!
Danusia has managed all of this without the childcare or financial support of her parents. She has found a way to through with her partner and friends, and with some killer self belief and inner confidence in what she could achieve if she put her mind to it.
What we learn is...
- The power of community, when and how to lean into your network, be it your mum friends, family friends or your business community.
- That it takes a village, not only to bring up kids, but to survive and thrive as a parent and entrepreneur
- Danusia has tips including how/ when/ what to bulk buy, and how to work together with other families to get through
- How and when to take that leap of faith to leave a corporate position to pursue your own dreams
- How to work with your partner as a team to make it possible to have your own dreams and pursue your own goals
- Why we should "lean into our ovaries" have self belief and manage our inner dialogue. Having a "just do it attitude" is key to your success.
And so much more...
This is a rich, layered podcast and I know you'll take some fabulous learnings from this that you can implement in your own life.
Enjoy xxx

In this episode you will....

Discover the words that have been removed from the dictionary, such as OTTER!! and what words have replaced them. And why this is significant.

Through her coaching, Florence guides women to access their heart centre, how to listen and how to act upon what comes up, to then understand what small steps and soul led actions you can take today to lead to huge change.
