  • Wild Wild Left Radio #127 People #OWS / Elites #AWS
AWS? What is that you ask?

    Assassinate World Streets.
I'm almost kidding. They have no problem carpet bombing civilians with drones, or assassinating World Leaders, or sicking the Police on unarmed civilians.
Bin Laden, Gahdaffi, American Citizens abroad, they kill them.
Peaceful protestors trying to get a Real Democracy reinstated, they brutalize them.
I think they are missing the one Real Demand worldwide. We want to rule ourselves, thank you very much, and we aren't asking anymore.
It should be a great show.

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #126 Occupation Endgame
Occupy Wall Street is again our topic tonight, as I assume it will be for a very long time as long as the Independent Journalists are still able to report freely.
    Two very important questions remain.
The first is about how it will fail - for the odds are stacked very highly against the Populace saving themselves from a deeply entrenched and now global Oligarchy. Will it be through violence, being co-opted, being handed austerity and thrown a few bones? Or will they create violence and blame the resistance in order to turn the population against the Occupation, rewarding little Orwellian finger-pointers?
The second is about how it will succeed - for against all odds, we are the many and we could easily regain power if the will to do so is true. Is highly regulated capitalism what we must settle for, perhaps isolationist America-first selfishness, or will we truly break free into sane socialism?
These are the days we have been waiting for my friends. It has begun.

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #125 OWS: MLK or Malcolm?
Occupy Wall Street is growing fast.
But will it be co-opted? Find who is trying, and what people are saying about it.
Should it be a non-violent, incremental King sort of change, or will it become a more radical Malcolm type of change?
    Which would be more effective?
I will attempt to address these questions, and include others views on the subject.

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #124 Bruce A Dixon Interview
Tonight I have the honor of interviewing Bruce A. Dixon co-founder of the wonderful (and wildly left) Black Agenda Report.
A habitual troublemaker and incorrigible activist, Bruce Dixon has been comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable since 1968.
As a rank and file member of the Black Panther Party in 1969-1970, a 1970s rank-and-file union activist in a string of factories, plants and workplaces, a 1980s community organizer in what were then some of the nation's poorest neighborhoods, to organizing and consulting through the 1990s Dixon has built an impressive record of service in and to the cause of human liberation.
In 2002 he began writing articles for Black Commentator, the predecessor of this publication, and broke the first accurate analyses of the phenomena around the election of Denise Majette over Cynthia McKinney in Georgia that year.
As managing editor at BAR Dixon is chiefly responsible for maintaining this web site.  He currently resides in metro Atlanta.
Bruce graciously allowed me to reprint his latest essay questioning the LOTE, lesser of the two evils with Barack Obama as perhaps the more effective evil. "Barack Obama VS Those Craaaazy Republicans: Is He the Lesser Evil, or the More Effective Evil?"  I adored it. He is brilliant, outspoken, and a troublemaker like me. This should be an awesome show!

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #123 Racism & Redirection
We talked about State-sponsored murder last Friday, and sadly, the people and Troy Davis lost that battle.
Racism, we will show, is an absolute force in this country for the travesties of justice against people of color. It makes me SICK!
Racism in the form of Islamophobia is also in play today, as Palestine seeks her Natural Right to exist at the UN.
These are all emotionally charged issues that DO need our attention.
But one wonders why that is all the media is covering, and what is happening in the background as we speak they don't want us to look at.
Right now? Wall Street is being occupied and our citizens are being brutalized.
All that and more tonight! Be there!

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #121 Kapitulation & Manipulation.
Holy moly, the Kabuki Theater has been rammed to the rafters this week. From the feral flounderings of the feckless right to the lofty linguistics hiding the lies of the Left. Say that twice if you can. Better yet, try and make sense of it all.
Let me make it simple, they always Kapitulate to the Korporate Kleptocracy.
In World News, Palestine is on the verge of Statehood, and the US is cornered into losing all credibility of promoting peace and self determination should we block this on Israel's behalf.  We are welcoming Honduran criminals back into the country with open arms, and our own last colony Puerto Rico is so plagued by human rights abuses by the militants there trying to silence their free speech that even the NYT was forced to mention it. We are against their popular revolt, yet for the one in Libya. Confused? I can simplify.
They always manipulate the message and manage the revolutions in their favor.
Its kind of a lose-lose for the People here & abroad this week.
Yet don't lose faith. Unrest is spreading like wildfire and we are selling matches tonight!

  • Wild Wild Left Radio #120 Disaster Capitalism
Well, I have an unusually surly week, how about you? My particular breed of insanity makes for pretty neat voyeurism into the uncharted waters of extreme-rant as a new sport. In other words, its almost fun.
Or would be, if the world wasn't turning to shit before our eyes, all while being branded and hawked by wild eyed street vipers. You know, the charlatan press and the planet-rapers for which they stand?
Its going to be disaster week, which is pretty much apropos of my mood. Natural disasters, man-made disasters, disasters wrought by monsters: Shakes, winds, war and famine.
I've got my claws out and ready to throw down. Heh.
