Jon Rennie is a former US Navy submarine officer, as well as a business leader, podcast host, and author.

We met on Twitter, where I saw his book “All In the Same Boat” about his time aboard the USS Tennessee and what it taught him about life and business.

I rarely read business books, but I thought I’d give his a try.

Pastor Doug Wilson is a husband, father, grandfather, author, Youtube star and the leader of the Christ Kirk Christian community in Moscow, Idaho.

He's also a man unafraid to speak the truth in a quiet but firm, compassionate but direct voice, sprinkled with a genuine sense of grandfatherly humor, and the occasional dad joke.

CR Wiley is a husband, father, podcast host, pastor of a church outside of Portland, Oregon, and the author of the book “The Household and the War for the Cosmos.”

For me his book was the crystal around which 20 years of thinking about masculinity instantly solidified.

What most men of the Renaissance want is a plot of land, a wife to share our lives with, noble work, children, a God to worship, and to be left alone. It turns out there's a word for that. It's called a household.

CB Robertson is an author, husband, father, and autodidactic philosopher. If you don't immediately recognize his name, you might recognize his Instagram handle: Caffeine and Philosophy.
