On today's show Russ & Yvette celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with you!

We quickly jump into breaking down a portion of a recent speech the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan made where he proclaims that HE is the Messiah, not Jesus. We know no one believes that, but Russ breaks down his speech virtually word-for-word.

NY Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez panders to a predominately black crowd by changing her accent saying there ain’t nothing wrong with folding clothes, cooking, and driving other people around on a bus for a living. That is pathetic and very offensive...all for the love of power!

We discuss being careful not to be “caught” by empty philosophies of this world (Col. 2:8).  We need to stay on top of what’s going on in the world, all while be engaged in prayer and sharing the gospel with others.

On today's show Russ & Yvette connect with good friend Greg Batten to hear his story. Greg, who was fortunate to have grown up in a Christian home, is an adventurous guy. He’s always worked for himself and has had some ups and downs, but God saw him through the good and the bad times. As God would have it Greg would outkick his coverage when he eventually meets his wife Laura. She’s much better looking than Greg.

Greg also shares about how his long-time friendship with “Larry the Cable Guy” (Daniel Whitney) is an inspiration and how Daniel and his wife Cara are on fire for the Lord. Greg talks to “Larry the Cable Guy” every day and has promised to give him a “bro hug” from Russ, aka “Bubba”.

We discuss the kind of “parachute confidence” we can have in Christ and the assurance He provides believers on this side of eternity.

In the news we discuss a recent trend where guys cuddle together to get through tough times. This is a serious dude code violation! It’s a little odd, right? We discuss bathroom matters yet again, because it a universal language and needs to be dealt with. Nozzle control can be an issue for guys and girls can actually pee on the seat…really?  Funny stuff!

On today's show Russ & Yvette review “Unplanned” that hit theaters this past Friday.  This new movie starring Ashley Bratcher who plays Abby Johnson in a true story about Abby Johnson who became the youngest clinic director in the history of Planned Parenthood, then a life-changing experience turns her into an anti-abortion activist.  The movie is a must see!

We call out several of the 50 actors, led by none other than Alyssa Milano, that are banning doing movies in Georgia because Gov. Brian Kemp signed the “fetal heartbeat bill” that would ban abortions after a heartbeat is detected. Like anyone really cares about what Alyssa thinks!

We also discuss whether or not certain types of “athletes” like Olympic curlers are really athletes? What do you think?

Pull the trigger when God is prompting you to do something that seems even bigger than you are...because God is bigger than your fears!

AOC’s Green New Deal gets shot down and she still has the Electoral College winning it all in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tourney. Jussie Smollett says he’s telling the truth about lying. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy plans to sign legislation“Medical Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act”...what?

Why do people buy coins in video games with real coins?  I just don't get it!

On today's show Russ interviews a special guest.  She’s a mom, wife, loyal friend, entrepreneur, comforter and believe it or not...she’s follower of Jesus Christ. In the past she’s been ridiculed by legalistic women in the church because she’s somehow found a way to balance work, doing something she loves and while being a mom who raises her children to love Christ.  Her name is...Yvette.

We also discuss three major tenets of America that progressives are attacking in an effort to grab power and take away our freedoms. They want open borders, no electoral college and the voting age dropped to 16, in attempt persuade those who want something for nothing or don’t know any better to vote them into power.  It’s easy to vote for someone who promises to give you stuff.

In the lighter side of things, Russ is curious why are doctors always practicing? And, what’s up with all the side effects of prescription drugs?
