Matt travels up the mountains along side Edrin Walker as he finishes GOD OF BROKEN THINGS by Cameron Johnston. An excellent end that took Matt by surprise, and then shocked him again! Hope to read more from Johnston in the near future. 

It's been over 15 years since Matt first fell in love with Greek mythology, and thanks to Madeline Miller - he remembers why. Revolving around Circe, but with rotating familiar faces, this book runs the gamut of emotions. From despair to hopeful, Matt had tears for all kinds of reasons. 

Matt dives into his first Science Fiction read of the year! Spoiler free thoughts about STORMBLOOD by Jeremy Szal. A book about family, with a dash of dope mech and gladiator fights. Listen along!

Poisoned by the copious amount of tea he drank from binge reading Royal Assassin, Matt steadily heals throughout this episode - much like his boy Fitz. Listen to him rank the best relationships and argue axe over sword. 

Despite having very little, Matt loves The Wit. And he loves Assassin's Apprentice. Slower paced, but with a big payoff. Not even Burrich can sway him from bonding with this series. 

Matt raves about one of the most inspiring books he's read in years. Tau's singular purpose and his drive to achieve it held Matt captive for all 544 pages. It's the definition of a page turner and his favorite book of 2020.
