What's better than a big old scoop of murderous revenge? I'll tell you what - nothing. And that's what Cameron Johnston's fun filled THE TRAITOR GOD gives you. Matt gets psyched up for a promising start to this duology. 

Long overdue, but well worth the wait - Matt finally returns to the world of the First Law. With his re-read over, he met all the new characters, has a ton of predictions, and shares what may be Abercrombie's most iconic scene yet! 

Boskone 57 was once again an excellent, genre filled weekend. Matt met his favorite authors, hit a bunch of panels, spent possibly way too much time at the vendor's tables. Two thumbs up for this Boston-based convention!

Finally! A series that ends in the best way possible. Entertaining, satisfying, and tear inducing. Obviously Matt had a good time, and hopefully listeners will too! 

The hardest decision Matt has ever made - Did he enjoy Joe Abercrombie's The Heroes or Red Country more? After hours arguing with himself in the mirror, he talks it out on the podcast. Listen up! 

It's been far too long my old friend. Matt reunites with Nix and one of his favorite authors, Kameron Hurley. This short story collection pleased his grimdark bones and hit him with a solid punch of nostalgia.

Matt has had his ups and downs during this journey, both proclaiming it the Greatest of All Time, but also becoming mildly frustrated at parts.
