As I have shared in the past couple of episodes, my family and I lost a very special person in my family. That very special person is my Uncle Monty, who is now in a better place. I miss him more than the world, and I know my family does, too. In this episode, I share the main way we all got through this difficult time in our lives, and how we still are today. If you are going through something similar or facing your own adversity, I hope you can take this episode as a reminder that everything will be okay and that you can get through it with the power of positivity and love for others. Basketball season has started and I could not be more excited! Throughout the preparation for the season during the summer and now that we are in season, I have learned a lot about the power of positivity. It not only allows us to get through some tough moments, but it has developed us to become something special, and ultimately, great(in many more ways than just skills). Today I am going to talk all about the power of positive energy, plus give you a quick update on the season so far. Ahh... the holidays! They are the best time of year, and I love to decorate for Christmas early, plus turn on Christmas music. What about Thanksgiving, though? Don't worry, Thanksgiving may seem like a forgotten holiday, but it is just as important as Christmas in a different sense. Life has started to become busier with the basketball season starting, joining a new club at school, and working again. I love it though because it brings a sense of joy and positivity into my life. It's time for my birthday special! I'll be 17 on October 26th, and I wanted to make a fun episode in honor of it. With the help of your opinion, I reflected on my very first episode... it's kind of crazy and I have definitely grown so much in the past year. Previously, I did an episode where I woke up at 6 AM before virtual school for a week to see how my mentality changed, but now that I'm in school, I decided to give 5 AM a shot. It's my dad's birthday this week and I decided to do an episode with him where he has to guess 2021 slang terms. The results are actually shocking because he knew quite a few of them! I'm so excited that I could include him in an episode and share some positivity with you. The Truth or Drink series has become very popular, and in honor of my mom's birthday, I wanted to include her in this type of episode.
