Living the Christian life is thinking and living differently. Christians use the Word of God and the 10 problem-solving devices to guide their thoughts and decisions. That’s being a wise person! The wise person evaluates himself in the light of what the Word of God teaches. “The wise of heart will receive commands, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.” (Prov 10:8). “Let the wise hear and increase in learning” (Prov 1:5). Arrogance is your top enemy. The wise person doesn’t fall into the trap of self-justification, self-deception, and self-absorption. The wise person will guard his tongue. “I will guard my ways so that I might not sin with my tongue” (Ps 39:1). “The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things” (Prov 15:28).
