We read the titular story, The Last Wish! When Geralt's bestie Dandelion is struck down by something that seems awfully like a wish-granting genie, Geralt seeks help from the sexy and treacherous Yennefer of Vergeberg. Her services don't come cheaply, though, and the price isn't in coins.

When Geralt and Dandelion are called in to remove a "deoval" pestering some villagers, nothing goes according to anyone's plan. Soon Geralt has a new friend, a new enemy, and a new appreciation for the transience of all living things.

First: The Lesser Evil, in which Geralt encounters a very grim take on Snow White. Snow White is a sexy mutant bandit who is out for revenge on, well, basically everybody. Then: A Question of Price, in which Geralt encounters take on The Green Knight which is much less grim. The Green Knight is still a sexy mutant though.

We start The Last Witch, the first Witcher book! This is a serious change in tone from the Wheel of Time. This book is gritty, clever, and bloody. We answer the question: What is a witcher? What does it mean to witch? Well this guy, Geralt, he witches all day every day and we are here for it.
