As we left off with our last episode, we began to get into how persistence in our walk with the Lord and seeking the Kingdom of Heaven can bring us into leadership roles.  We also get into some wrong ideas that are out there concerning leadership and some pushback you are bound to get if you're walking effectively.

We get into a discussion about persistence and how we can have some ideas that we have already arrived.  We start with getting into some passages in Matthew about the Kingdom of God.  If you don't know the context, you might even think that they contradict each other, even though in reality, they build upon one another.  We do this to show how revelation comes from digging in the Word of God and deepening our relationship with Him.

We continue to get into Zechariah 3,4, and 6 and examine the prophetic types and shadowing of Jesus Christ.  We also play the doctrine game to demonstrate how people can strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.  Last episode, we looked into the Priesthood and Sacrifice of Jesus Christ as presented in Joshua the High Priest.  In this episode we see how the Kingly/Governing function of Jesus is represented in the person of Zerubbabel, the Governor in charge of rebuilding the Temple.  In Chapter 6 we see how the Priestly and Kingly offices are combined in Jesus the Messiah.

We start this episode out by addressing current events that have happened during the Feast of Tabernacles/Booths and then get into the Prophetic Shadowings of Jesus Christ in Zechariah 3, 4, and 6.  In this episode we end with Chapter 3 which talks about the Priesthood of Jesus Christ as well as His role as our Atoning Sacrifice as represented by Joshua the High Priest (during the rebuilding of the Temple).

We finish our discussion of how some people can think that if something isn't their idea it's automatically wrong.  As we talked about in the previous episode, the Body of Christ isn't immune to this mindset, and it is something we should be mindful of it, especially when it comes to being led by the Holy Spirit.  We get into a brief discussion of how it is manifesting in the Body of Christ here in America currently and also talk about how some of the debates in the Body today have already been had in the history of the Church.

We continue to delve into the role of human nature in Scripture by comparing the stories of Michiah and Zedekiah and that of the temple guards who struck Jesus and demanded that He prophesy who hit Him.  It really boils down to ego and the idea that if it's not "my idea" it's the wrong idea.  We get into some of the ways we see this at play in the workplace as well as in church settings.  Next episode we discuss how this is playing out on a larger scale in the Body of Christ today.

We conclude by talking about how human nature plays out as John in Revelation is seeing the same things as Daniel and Zechariah but just writing them down a bit differently.
