Welcome to Episode 35! We begin the show by discussing Joe Biden's dark and unhinged speech last week. We give our theories for why the Brandon administration wanted a spectacle like this, including our take that they're using this as a mid-term strategy. It's a sad day in America when one political movement demonizes another like this, especially as part of a political strategy to remain in power.

We next discuss the recent trend of tech worker TikToks going viral. In these videos, tech workers are seen doing almost no work yet receiving insane amounts of perks. Having experience in the field, TB (Tech Bro) takes us through what he's actually experienced in tech and how accurate these videos are.

We have our first Sports Corner in awhile discussing the NFL. TB's Giants and SB's Patriots aren't in great positions, and after ranting about that we discuss other storylines we're looking forward to this season. SB then gives an update on a recent student debt debate he had with some reddit commies in r/billsimmons.

We finish up with a ReWokeables looking at more #DefundingTheWoke going on at CNN, plus Sam Harris tripling down with more absurd, anti-Trump comments.

Welcome to Episode 34! There's so much news swirling but we decided a full hour on the Student Loan Debt Crisis was needed following Biden's recent moves.

Both of us bring different perspectives on this issue, including TB's personal student loan experience, SB's finance background, and of course what you know and love: deep, thoughtful looks at the core issues of the country and possible solutions to solve them.

Welcome to Episode 33! We start with a eulogy for Liz Cheney's political career after she got blown out in her Republican primary. This signals conservative Americans are finally waking up to the fact that many Republicans do not represent them, and it's time to stop electing establishment Republicans, also known as Never-Trumpers or RINOs (Republicans in Name Only).

We next discuss two stories focused on a similar theme: liberal hypocrisy. Sam Harris, a "moral" voice on the left, stated this week that the media was justified in hiding the Hunter Biden story because Trump was so bad. Once liked by many including SB, Sam developed a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome years ago and has never recovered; indeed it appears to have gotten worse. TB then updates the audience on the happenings at IGN, a gaming website message board, including some outrageous hypocrisy when it comes to the American Flag vs. the Gay Pride flag. 

We celebrate the best #DefundingTheWoke yet - Brian Stelter is gone from CNN! His show was cancelled and he was fired. The new parent company of CNN, Warner Bros. Discovery, has a lot of debt to pay off, and they can no longer afford to be Woke. We also laugh at a parody-esque Stephen King tweet defending Stelter, or as he's commonly referred to, Mr. Potato Head.

Next, we get into a societal deep dive on Elon Musk's recent tweet, "Being a Mom is just as important as any career." We're glad Elon said it and we hope there's more support by popular figures for women choosing stay-at-home motherhood. We also theorize the pressure to be a career woman and "beat the patriarchy" is a cause of higher rates of depression among woman than men.

To finish up, we discuss feedback on our recent Trump vs. DeSantis debate in which TB convinced a listener to vote Ron over Don! But we both agree, either will be much better than Biden and the debate is more about who is strategically a better fit to beat the Democrats in 2024.

Welcome to Episode 32! We begin with the top story of the week and what may be the top story of the year, the Trump Raid. We think this marks the end of the US as a first world country and sets a horrible precedent for future actions. We also examine the left and right's reaction. (0-26:40)

We then have our second Trump vs. DeSantis debate following the raid, which SB believes has emboldened Trump for 2024. (27:10-38:45) Part of the appeal of DeSantis, per TB, is having the race be about Biden's failures, which we examine next. The administration is gaslighting about a recession and inflation, but people out on the ground know what's happening despite the media spin. (38:45-50:50)

We have a packed ReWokeables. On Fox Corp's recent earnings call CEO Lachlan Murdoch stated that Hispanic viewership of Fox News was up 38% in July. Asian viewership was up 41% and Fox News was the most viewed cable network by both groups during the month. (50:50-1:05:55) We check back in on the WNBA - why do their players make more money than G-League players (1:05:55-1:17:05) - before calling out Jalen Rose for his woke Mount Rushmore take. Welcome to Episode 31! We are back after a brief summer break, and boy did the Woke flow in! We focused on AOC to start the show. She's been in the news a lot lately, whether it be for a fake arrest, calling transgender strippers Patriots, or seeing her "big juicy booty" get meme'd. She ultimately hasn't done much of anything except put on fake performances, echoing the typical progressive millennial who cares about their social media likes more than actually creating real change. We also touch on the ridiculousness of her claiming a few years back that Climate Change is the millennial generation's World War, while she takes gas guzzling SUVs to work. 

The left being angrier about the booty meme than Republican Lee Zeldin almost getting stabbed at a campaign event is also a prime example of the woke left thinking anyone that disagrees with them is the devil, and that speech is violence while violence is speech. We pop into the Bill Simmons subreddit to examine this in action, as many redditors in that community actually support the deaths of Tucker Carlson and Clay Travis. Bizarre and chilling stuff. 

To lighten things up we turn to a #WokeInTheWild somehow hating on window washers dressing as Superheroes outside of a children's hospital. We then cover the absolute hypocrisy of Democrat politicians complaining about illegals being sent to their cities while supporting an endless stream of illegal immigration into Republican states. It's a similar theme to progressives choosing not to live in the woke utopia shitholes they created. We end with the ironic story of Mexicans getting mad that Americans are moving to Mexico City while not immersing themselves in the culture.

We have another #DefundingTheWoke to share - Samantha Bee's nasty, unfunny and barely watched late night show finally got cancelled, while WokeFlix lost subscribers for yet another quarter. We then turn to The View, specifically our favorite Whoopi, for yet another woke take.

To finish off the show, TB pays off a bet made with friend of the show Brandon from GreenCandle, and then we have a brief Sports Corner before wrapping up.

Welcome to Episode 30! We start the show discussing the latest woke comments from LeBron, or should we saw LeWoke, James. After previously saying he didn't experience any racism while playing in Boston, he now claims Boston fans are "racist as fuck." We respond to those comments as well as LeWoke saying that Brittney Griner shouldn't even want to come back to America. (0:00-17:05)

Next up in our Sh*thole City check-in we discuss the recent comments by Starbucks' CEO. The woke coffee chain plans to shut down several locations in classic Democrat-led woke utopia sh*tholes like Seattle, Philly and Portland. We also hear from TB, who just got back from another business trip to San Fran, and it was just as bad as the first time around. (17:35-35:10)

We then transition to Biden's botched Saudi Arabia trip, where he failed to get Saudi to increase oil production to bring down gas prices. We also contrast how the media covered Trump visiting Saudi vs Biden's fist bump with MBS. We also have a laugh at Mayor Pete claiming US citizens need to buy electric cars, when he fake bikes to work while actually riding in a gas guzzling SUV. (35:10-46:35)

In a jam-packed ReWokeables, we hit on Jill Biden's taco fiasco at a "LatinX" conference (46:35-56:30) - how patronizing - as well as Josh Hawley being called out as inciting violence by the woke left for saying men can't get pregnant (56:30-1:08:35). We finish up laughing about how we called Fauci being brought out once again and telling everyone to mask up. (1:08:35-1:16:05)

Welcome to Episode 29! We start with coverage of Brittney Griner in Russia, the WNBA player arrested for hard drugs and currently on trial. While a sad situation, we are hearing the familiar liberal media talking point that there's an unjust wage gap between men's and women's basketball which we strongly disagree with - the NBA makes more money because it's watched more; it makes more money than the NHL too. We then compare the treatment of Ryan Lochte by the media to Griner, and wonder why the two were treated so differently - isn't Lochte supposed to have white privilege? (0:00-14:15)

We transition to discuss how Biden is being lauded by the media for simply reading the letter from Griner's wife. In a similar situation, former President Trump threatened Sweden with a trade war if they didn't give back rapper A$AP Rocky. Biden's weakness is stark contrast to Trump, who was often criticized for statements and strategic moves that turned out to be prescient. A perfect example of this is when Trump was laughed at for saying Germany was too reliant on Russian gas - now their economy and society might shut down. (14:15-23:45)

Elon Musk on Friday cancelled the Twitter deal. We theorize why: is this negotiating, is he trying to take down Twitter by catching them under-reporting bots, did he want to expose them, or is there something else at work? We discuss a variety of possible reasons for the news and read from his letter pulling out of the deal, a rarity for him. (24:20-37:10)

Next we discuss how The Orville, a Star Trek-esque show created by Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy fame, has gone woke. They had an entire transgender episode and we were offended at how easy and simple they made the choice to transition seem. We do not believe this is appropriate for children to watch. We discuss another show that's gone woke, The Boys, before finishing up discussing how absurd it is that young children are being brought to drag queen events and parades where participants are mostly naked. After a Sports Corner in which TB gloats about the Yankees success, especially over the Red Sox (1:02:30-1:07:25) we discuss a recent Tucker Carlson interview with Ben Smith, formerly of Buzzfeed and the New York Times, before finishing up with a ReWokeables on how the media continues to call Hispanic conservatives right wing - this time Mayra Flores and the "Rise of the Far Right Latina" - what happened to using LatinX, New York Times? (1:07:25-1:18:55)

Welcome to Episode 28! We start the episode off discussing the utterly predictable reaction from the left after Roe vs. Wade, especially the racist attacks against Justice Clarence Thomas. The left isn't interested in a discussion, just spreading their intolerance of any alternative opinion. We then segue into how this was also shown in the woke tech world, including an employee fired for joking about bodegas, and a recent TB personal experience.

Next we discuss two related white guilt stories. Strangely, the creator of the hit TV show Friends now believes the show was "too white" and thus has started donating to diversity scholarships. We saw a similar situation with Netflix's CEO - funding scholarships at his PWI (Predominately White Institution - more looney left language) and thus he gifted $120 Million to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

NBA free agency has begun and we check in on Kevin Durant requesting a trade from the Nets, reaffirming the bizarre situation where NBA players making $50 Million a year are unhappy. We also talk a little Sox-Yanks, as TB's Bronx Bombers look like the World Series favorite.

We finish up with a check-in on The Great Biden Depression - consumers have essentially stopped spending beyond gas and food, sending us straight into a recession - and then have a laugh about the recent ridiculousness of Fauci.

Welcome to Episode 27! We start with a breakdown of why Disney's new Buzz Lightyear movie failed to take off at the box office. While Pixar may have damaged its brand due to releasing movies straight to Disney+ during the pandemic, and the movie wasn't good, we think the biggest culprit is wokeness: the needless lesbian kissing scene, the removal of conservative Tim Allen as Buzz, and in general parents not trusting Disney after they're put their wokeness on display over the last several months. We also discuss how the lesbian scene puts parents in a tough spot if they decide to allow their young kids to watch the movie.

Next up we discuss a series of tweets that show the absurdity of the left calling everyone they don't agree with a white supremacist. Vice recently published an article titled "White Nationalists Want to Reclaim Nature as a Safe Space for Racists," which shows that we need some #DefundingTheWoke at Vice sooner than later. We next discuss a tweet from a professor that claims her son said "almost every white middle school boy is in the alt-right pipeline." We bring that together with a final tweet from a journalist saying that young conservatives are increasingly radical. We disagree - our views are "common sense" while the world has drastically shifted left.

The Great Biden Depression rages on, and we dive into more gaslighting on that front as well as a look into Biden's energy policy. We are encouraged that executives from Chevron and Exxon are finally fighting back against's Biden's Energy wokeness, which includes blaming gas station owners for high gas prices. Biden is essentially calling for price controls and communism rather than working with the US oil industry to get more energy online to lower costs. The good news is the media propaganda isn't working - Biden has a 25% approval rating among 18-34 year-olds and only 11% believe the gas price increase is due to Putin.

We finish up with a riff on how the Obama's are seeing Woke Funding from Amazon after moving their podcast there from Spotify. Maybe one day Amazon will have to defund the woke - we will have to see!
