Episode 15: Hiatus Round Up!

Hey all, Shay and Justin are back from a two week hiatus and we have a lot of things we need to ramble about or we’ll have an aneurism. We start with the video games we’re playing and how Fortnight is garbage. We discuss our unified support for “Batfleck” and who should/could replace him as well as how optimistic we are for some other projects on the horizon. We talk some about VA, Whitaker and Trump’s SOTU address and what stood out to us. Finally, we discuss the “National Emergency” and how it might not be the silver bullet Trump thinks it is. We killed a lot of brain cells to bring this to you, so enjoy.

Editor’s note: We are experimenting with new software options to record the pod. That has led to some syncing issues that we had to fix by hand. So if it’s a little choppy in parts bear with us. We’ll get it worked out next week...or not.

Today on the pod Shay and Justin are joined by Ben and John. Some of us pre-gamed for the podcast so we were gonna see where it went. We talked about Blackface and why people keep trying to make it a thing, the re-opening on the Federal Government and how Speaker Pelosi made Trump her hand puppet. Also Roger Stone, Trump adviser and general Alex Jones stooge, was indicted on 7 felony counts related to obstructing the Mueller Probe. We basically can’t wait to see him thrown head first into prison. We had a lot of fun and even more beers so we hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

Today on the pod we have Shay and Justin had way too much fun and way too many beers. We talk up the next NK/US Summit to take away NK nukes, again. We talk a good deal about the announcement of Ghostbusters 3 and what that means for the franchise past, present and future. We talk about Buzzfeed taking it on the chin this week and if that story will eventually pan out and we give our hot takes on the Covington Catholic students and the “confrontation” that was videoed in DC. We give an update of our predictions for the longest government shutdown and what that might mean for the economy.

We talk about reboots of reboots and how Michael Bay is on a mission to retroactively ruin our childhood. We try to surf the strange landscape of the country’s longest government shutdown and touch on some of the big news stories that slammed into the Trump administration this past week. And finally we talk a little about the new Democratic 2020 candidates and how some of them have already eliminated themselves.

Hey All, Today on the pod Shay and Justin are joined by Dave and Gatlin so that Shay can ruin Bumblebee for Gatlin (RIP Wheeljack…). We discuss some movies and games we are looking forward to happening. We talk the partial government shutdown and how bad this is shaping up for Trump and the 2020 field that is and how it’s different than the one we want. All 4 of us got pretty drunk so I’m sure we were hilarious.

Hey All! Today on the pod Shay and Justin are joined by our buddy John to discuss the ups and downs of the week. There is a gaggle of good movies out no matter what the Facespaces and Mybooks say. Trump proved he wasn’t too afraid to visit our troops in a war zone and we discuss how the “Art of the Deal” POSTUS has gotten himself into such a jam over his “Big Beautiful Wall”. Finally, Grover dropped an F-Bomb on Sesame Street…what a time to be alive.

Hey All, Shay is out this week so we asked his friend Dave sit in and help me rant into the void. We talk about the great bunch of movies we have out right now. (Bumblebee is amazing. Go see it.) And then spend a good chunk of time discussing the week that was for Trump. The GOP conspiracy theory about Flynn falls flat, our abrupt withdraw from Syria, Mattis resigning and then kinda getting fired and the Trump Government Shutdown. Join us this Festivus as we air all of our grievances for the week.

Hey All, today on the pod Shay and Justin talk about some really bad and really good movies we’ve seen lately. We discuss the amazing about of legal woes that the Trump administration is dealing with now and how happy we’d be to see the Trump kids do a perp walk. We try to figure out who, if anyone, will sign on to be Trump’s next Chief of Staff and lastly we try to decide if Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George, are putting on a political show or if they have a seething anger for each other that boils over into dangerous hate sex a couple of times a month. We aren’t thrilled with either option.

Hey All, Shay and Justin are joined by John and Adam as we power through some technical issues and Skype witchcraft to give you another high water mark of internet broadcasting. Today we try to catch up on all the news that landed on the Trump Administration and how much of that is going to stick. We have some new fun trailers to discus and finally we try to figure out what the hell is wrong with Lou Dobbs.

Hey All, no podcast this week. Shay has lost his best friend in the world. After a battle with cancer, his dog Roland crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Needless to say he’s in no mood to talk politics and the news and neither am I. So we’ll take a pause for the cause this week and remember one of the best friends a human could have.
