We’ve rebranded!
This podcast used to be called ‘The Maker’s Collective Podcast’ and is now called ‘The Work Different, Live Different Podcast by The Maker’s Collective’. You’ll notice that we’ve updated the look and feel along with the name, which will appear across all of our episodes, old and new.
In this episode of The Maker’s Collective Podcast we talk about everyone’s favourite topic right now, tips and strategies for working from home. It can be incredibly difficult to work from home and we know that a lot of people are struggling with it, so we thought we’d do a quick episode to share some of the tips and strategies we’re using to help us stay motivated and productive during this time.
Here are the highlights:
We would absolutely love to hear how you’re doing during this time and what’s working for you! Everyone is different and everyone works a little bit differently, so the more we share with each other the better we’ll all be!

In this episode of The Maker’s Collective Podcast we talk about, well, the shit hitting the fan. The COVID-19 pandemic has hit fast and hard and we’re all left trying to process, cope, and manage. We know how fortunate and privileged we are to still have work and to have safe homes to live in, so we also know that in this time it’s important for us to go back to our roots as a company. We need to be heart-centered, giving more than ever before. We need to listen and create a space for our community to feel safe to share and ask for whatever help looks like for them.
Here are some of the resources we have available, some that the government has released, and some from members of our community:

In this episode of The Maker’s Collective Podcast we chat with one of our favourites, the incredible Kelly Broocks of Pretty By Her! It’s been a little over a year since we last had her on the show (check out episode 26 to listen to her first interview) and we’re so excited to have her back on to talk about the growth she has experienced, the changes she’s gone through, and what’s next for her and her business.

In this episode of The Maker’s Collective Podcast we tackle the epidemic of being busy. In a world that’s more connected than ever, it’s so easy to fall into the trap of working all the time, however how much of that work you’re doing day in and day out is actually moving you forward in your business? What would happen if you focused on creating space in your business, so you could start to plan for what’s next? How much space would you create for yourself mentally if you created efficiencies within the work you do everyday? What could you do with all of that extra time and space? You owe it to yourself to find out.

This week, we catch you up on everything we've been up to and pull back the curtain to let you in on how we've been able to create paid programs and launch events that sell out. A lot of entrepreneurs and small business owners will wait until they feel "credible" to take a big swing and sell something that feels out of your comfort zone. There is fear that comes up, uncertainty and questions about what it will mean if no one buys. This alone stops a lot of people from going after the things that could create a huge impact for your community and the growth of your business. We discuss how to overcome this mindset and prepare yourself to create programs and events that will sell and how we've done it.
