    Michael Ridgway is the Global Vice President of Interpreting at United Language Group (ULG), one of the largest translation, localization and interpreting providers in the world. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ULG has offices in seven countries on three different continents, and serves over 3,000 clients – including many Fortune 500 companies.

    Michael joined ULG in January of 2017, after almost a decade of working with other leaders in the language services space, including Sajan, TheBigWord and Freedman International. In his new role at ULG, he is specifically focused on Over-the-Phone Interpretation technology (OPI).

    With a background in finance and 20 years of professional experience, Michael has launched divisions and services around the world. He has led international sales and marketing teams, and has worked with some of the largest and most recognizable global brands.

    In addition to running her consultancy, Lanie spent more than a decade and a half serving as the Director of International Affairs for the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She is also the immediate Past President of Protocol & Diplomacy International, a global organization of protocol professionals with almost 300 members representing 20 countries. Currently, she is the Co-Chair of the 2017 International Education Forum being held in Dublin, Ireland, at the end of July.

    Originally from India, Shama immigrated to the United States with her family when she was a child. A born entrepreneur, she founded The Marketing Zen Group – a global online-marketing and digital-PR company – when she was still in her twenties. In 2009, she was named one of the Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25 by Business Week. Today, The Marketing Zen Group serves clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and nonprofit organizations across the globe.

    Shama's first book, The Zen of Social Media Marketing, published in 2010, has since become a bestseller, and is currently in its fourth edition. Her latest book, Momentum: How to Propel Your Marketing and Transform Your Brand in the Digital Age, was published in 2016.

    Bindu Balakrishnan is a business development specialist, who divides her time between India and Germany. She leads the Indian operations of DCMN, which is a digital marketing agency headquartered in Berlin.

    Since 2016, when Bindu was chosen to head DCMN's first Asian office in Bangalore, the agency has opened two more offices in India. From there, DCMN is planning to expand even further into Asia, with Bindu helping to lead that international expansion.

    Previously, Bindu headed business development and marketing at 1SDK, a mobile attribution analytics company, where she developed a deep understanding of both the Indian ecommerce and mobile industries.

    Originally from India, Bindu spent several years living, studying and working in Europe – first in the healthcare field and then in business management. She speaks four different languages, is working on a fifth, and she has over a decade of experience working with digital startups.

    In addition to his role at Mangaconnect and Crowdships, Kurihara-san is also the Japan Manager for S&W Media Group and for Cogia Intelligence, where he works to provide services that integrate all facets of the global market and to develop profitable revenues for his clients.

    Kurihara-san's previous experience includes working as a sales consultant for Rakuten, Japan's largest e-commerce company and the third largest e-commerce marketplace in the world. He also has extensive experience in the education and non-profit sectors, working with local government to help create and develop public policy.
