Morocco Africa cracking down on Christians

As we reported last week the Muslim-majority African country of Morocco is cracking down on Christianity

The Worldviewspoke to Claire Evans with International Christian Concern who said Christians have enjoyed religious freedom in the country until recently

EVANS Morocco has been fairly open compared to the rest of the region in allowing Christians to practice their faith Thats not to say there have never been any problems A lot of this openness was re-affirmed in 2016A few years earlier they had seen the brutality of ISIS DELETE and Morocco led the way in establishing whats called the Marrakesh Declaration which basically confirmed that religious freedom should be the priority of every country DELETE and They were the first Islamic country to say something like that

However with this religious freedom and church growth have come a wave of persecution
