150-person Hindu mob beats pastor while he prays for sick

Ugandan Muslim sheikh and family come to Christ

A former Muslim sheikh in eastern Uganda who secretly became a Christian on Christmas Day last year through the testimony of a business colleague decided to tell his family about his new faith just last month reports International Christian Concern

On May 14th Marijan Olupot invited his pastor to his home in Obokora village Olupot who had two wives told Morning Star News by phone that he then revealed his Christian faith to his wives and called on the pastor to explain the gospel so that the church leader could lead his family to faith in Christ One of his wives and his three children ages 10 12 and 14 -- put their faith in Christ as Lord and Savior and the other wife declined

No doubt Olupot echoes the words of Joshua who urged the Israelites to reject the false gods of Canaan and declared in Joshua 2415 As for me and my householdwe will serve theLord
