I hope to share an interview I conducted. Thus far the audio cuts in and out and I can't be heard sometimes. I need more time to tweak it. Marcus warns "Don't be a lover boy," but I disagree. After getting betrayed by your partner of 4 years, it's understandable why he'd say that. Jeff didn't just steal, he had a whole other boyfriend and relationship that Marcus didn't know about. This breakup was brutal. In hindsight Marcus says there was one major red flag that shouldn't be overlooked. 

I'm sharing one of my own worstships, about a guy I dated named Clyde. This episode first ran late last year - it was two episodes, but I merged it into one for this throwback. I should have a new interview up next week! Enjoy.

What happens the only time I tell y'all that I'm going on a first date? I have to embarrass myself by giving an unexpected update. It has been forever since someone didn't want to go on a second date with me. I can't even remember when that was. I had fun on my date and I teach others how to only have good first dates. Ok, let's get to it already. Enjoy.

Madison makes great TV, but she's the girlfriend from hell. 

Next we have Annie, who gets drunk and picks fights. Her ex-boyfriend says Annie exhibited the same behavior when they were together, before or after her DUI arrest (I'm unsure but I mention it). 

And last but not least, KB is 27 years old (when Love Is Blind was filmed) and she says she wants Edmond to put a baby in her next year.... YIKES! The bar does not have to be in hell, ladies! And acting like Madison & Annie when you're dumped is toxic and SO STRANGE. I have so many questions!

I outline why Kalybriah "KB" Haskin, the Black social worker on Love Is Blind season 9, is toxic. KB is beautiful, kind, and patient but she shouldn't want her man to get into a fist fight on her behalf.

She also shouldn't talk about her promiscuous past while denying her nerdy fiance the cookie, and she shouldn't argue with her partner in public when she could have some respect and save the argument for when they're at home.

I like KB and I want her to succeed. She's done the best she could given the weirdo she ended up with, but it's time to dissect when KB is in the wrong because some of her missteps are common - talking about being promiscuous with a partner who doesn't know what promiscuity is?! I had to call her out.

I read an excerpt from my Dating Hacks chapter from my book, So Drunk A Tooth's Gotta Go. I also explain why it's good to talk to someone you meet (online or offline) about sex before it happens. I've dodged bullets this way and you will too!
