It can feel exhausting, lonely and hopeless when you're in the middle of it — noticing pattern after pattern, your body speaking louder and louder, the people around you seeming to go on with their lives as usual, all while you're asking yourself "what the heck is going on and why is no one else noticing this".

In this episode we are exploring somatics as a way of healing trauma and reclaiming our natural power as creative beings. To explain this I share my story of pursuing songwriting and the challenges I had along the way; and how somatics has enabled me to move past the doubt and judgement into authentic expression.

I'm in my luteal phase as I record this, and I’ve never felt more connected to the wild intelligence of my body. This part of the cycle has been demonized for far too long—but I see it as a sacred medicine journey. In this episode, I share how I reclaim chaos, sensitivity, and the deep emotions as important information for my liberation process. I call it anthropology of the soul—a wild-woman excavation of the unconscious conditioning that the body carries. In many ways, harnessing the power of the luteal phase can be deeper than plant medicine because it asks to be chosen again and again and again - you can always opt out, unlike what happens once you have take in a plant.
