Prior to our Barbenheimer-filled weekend, we made to sure to pop in and see our boy T.C. in the new Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part I.
Our fellow Astorian and filmmaker-extraordinaire Chris Toro joins us in this episode as we discuss our thoughts on the latest movie in the MI franchise, and Rog and Dylan also rank the Mission Impossible movies after having seen all seven in a week's time. Chris is still working his way up the Ethan Hunt chain and has not seen the 5th and 6th films of the franchise, but if there is one thing Chris and the guys can all agree on: Tom Cruise is the greatest runner in cinema history!
Chris also shares introspective insight on filming with Super 8 in this episode which is just as fun as it is educational for anyone interested in filmmaking, or if you just want to hear a cool M. Night Shyamalan story. So tune in!
And don't forget to sip back and enjoy the show!

In this special landmark episode we welcome our very first special guests!
Fellow filmmakers/actors Ali Edwards and Sophia Castuera drop by the pod to discuss their new film, August at 22, which is available to stream on AppleTV, Amazon Video, and other streaming platforms starting July 25.
To wrap things up, we discuss this Summer's two biggest hits, or as we like to call it: Barbenheimer. Naturally, Rog and Dylan woke up in the mood for pink and came to record this episode dressed to the 9s in their inner Barbie outfits. Meanwhile, Ali and Sophia may not know who or what an "Oppenheimer" is, but somehow they managed to show up in wardrobe that commemorates Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer. By no means was anything of this coordinated in advance... or maybe it was? Who's to say?

Another episode of The Wrap Beers Podcast means more shenanigans and another draft of films.
This episode is a historic one, being our first episode ever recorded on Juneteenth! To start things off, Dylan divulges his first-hand experience going to Open Mics in New York where, believe it or not, comedians are not the only people who take the stage.
Rog and Dylan also share their Top 5 Will Ferrell movies in an impromptu Will Ferrell Movie Draft that unintentionally does NOT include Step Brothers (don’t worry, we’ve got a special episode dedicated solely to Step Brothers coming soon). In other words, their selections are not what you would expect. They honestly may infuriate our audience, but it is a risk we are willing to take.

The Wrap Beers Podcast is back in full effect!
We took a hiatus, but now we're back and better than ever. And this episode is all about the one and only, Mr. Denzel Washington.
Prior to going off the grid, Dylan and Rog indulged in a Denzel Washington Saturday in which our hosts sat on their couch and watched two Denzel Washington movies that are just as much classics as they are re-watchable.
After spending an entire day watching Denzel Washington movies, what else is there to do other than to hold a Denzel Washington Movie Draft? That's exactly what Rog and Dylan did, and luckily for you, they did it right here in this week's episode of The Wrap Beers Podcast.

Nightmares aboard the New York City public transit system has driven Dylan and Roger off the rails. Although separate experiences, the nuances of navigating the streets of New York City remain the same as both hosts relive their experiences trying to get home from Brooklyn to Queens.
Dylan and Roger share their solidarity with writers, the WGA, and all those still on the picket lines fighting for fair livable wages. After all, writers are the backbone of the film and television industry and deserve to be paid as such. Just our two sense, for what it's worth.
And to wrap it up, Dylan confesses his most random celebrity crush. But no, it’s not who you think it is.
Tune in. Sip back. And enjoy the show!

Another week of The Wrap Beers calls for another week of shenanigans.
After finally ending an elongated celebration of Dylan's 29th birthday has finally come to end, Dylan and Rog bounced back with, you guessed it — an international film! The guys discuss Burning, a Korean film featuring the one Steven Yeun. If you’ve never heard of it, strap in. This movie is a crazy ride from start to finish, and had our hosts itching to talk about.
In the TV world, Rog and Dylan discuss Beef on Netflix, which also stars Steven Yeun alongside Ali Wong.
To wrap things up, Dylan relives his 4/20 experience out and about in New York City on a night when everyone seemed to be smoking everything but weed.

Yes, one of us did see the Super Mario Bros movie. But this episode is filled with more than just some fun shenanigans pulled from Mario and Luigi.
In this week's episode, Dylan and Rog discuss Beau Is Afraid. The movie-going experience to see Ari Aster's latest movie in IMAX was an unforgettable one, to say the least. The guys were literally left speechless.
While on the topic of anxiety, the newest season of Barry is out now on HBO. Dylan and Rog discuss some of the highlights from the first few episodes of the final season, then Rog wraps it up with a controversial take on the latest episode of Succession.

*SPOILERS WARNING*
After celebrating Dylan's birthday all of last week, we're back for another episode.
The guys chat birthday shenanigans and the latest Ben Affleck, Matt Damon movie - Air. The film has garnered much hype since its release. After seeing it, the guys can validate Air is worth the price of admission.
Per the disclaimer, there are also spoilers about Season 4 of HBO's Succession in this episode. If you have yet to watch the final season of Succession, do us and yourself a favor and go watch it before listening to this episode.
To wrap it up, the legend of Rog and Dylan's friendship is finally revealed as Dylan reflects on the best experience of his 20s and what he looks forward to the most during this lap around the sun.

The boys went to Arizona. And boy, was it a TIME!
Fresh off their trip to Tempe for a friend's wedding, Rog and Dylan return for this episode with clearer minds and full hearts. The desert turned them into a pair of sun devils and they were just an elevator ride away from turning into a couple of wildcats.
In addition to making unforgettable memories, Rog and Dylan also watched Raising Arizona in Arizona, and enjoyed it so much, they turned it on again when they returned back to New York. The movie, which has been regarded as one of the Cohen Brothers' best, climbed to #2 of Favorite Cohen Brothers Movies for one of our host. The guys also share their favorite Nicholas Cage movie.
To wrap it up, Rog and Dylan give Phoenix/Sky Harbor Airport a piece of their mind.
Find out what happened in Arizona as you sip back and enjoy all the shenanigans (at least the stories we're able to share on a public forum) from the guys' first, but definitely not their last, trip to the desert.

The guys hold nothing back in this episode. Hence, the title.
Fresh off Bayridge St Patty's Day in Brooklyn, Dylan shares his thoughts on The Quiet Girl - an Irish film nominated for Best International Feature at this year's Academy Awards. In discussing his theater-going experience to watch the film, Dylan also shares his top three pet peeves of the movie theater. And yes, all three were on display when he went to go see this movie.
The guys also discuss Fire of Love, another Academy Award nominee from this year's Oscars that was based on an amazing story from another country (France).
To wrap things up, Dylan shows off his skills impersonating some of the world's more infamous voices.
