Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this special edition of The Wright Report, Bryan delivers a breaking update on peace in the Middle East — as Israel and Hamas accept President Trump's peace plan.
From the release of hostages to a new path toward Arab-Israeli reconciliation, today's report covers the facts, intelligence insights, and listener questions on what this historic moment means for the world.
Trump Announces Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas: President Trump revealed that Israel and Hamas have both signed on to Phase One of his 20-point peace plan, with help from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. "This means that all of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace," he said. The agreement includes a ceasefire, the release of approximately 20 surviving hostages, and Israel's withdrawal to key defensive lines.
Prisoner Exchange and Humanitarian Aid: Israel will release about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners within 48 hours while Hamas returns the living hostages. The bodies of 28 murdered captives, including two Thai citizens, remain withheld. In exchange for disarmament and the entry of humanitarian aid, Gaza will move toward a transitional governance phase under international oversight.
The Road Ahead — Hamas Must Go: Phase Two of the plan requires Hamas to disarm and give up control of Gaza. Trump's decision to pledge U.S. military defense to Qatar — a key Hamas ally — may have been part of a broader deal to pressure the group's leadership and expand the Abraham Accords. "We gave them something massive so Trump could get something massive in return," Bryan explains.
Listener Q&A on the Peace Process: Bryan answers listener questions about why hostages are being released slowly, why Hamas might accept defeat, and why this peace effort may succeed where others failed. He describes a Middle East transformed: Iran weakened, Hezbollah diminished, Syria and Lebanon reshaped, and Gulf nations eager for modernization.
Intelligence Services at Work: Mossad, the CIA, MI6, and Arab agencies are already recruiting informants and installing surveillance systems to stabilize Gaza. Bryan explains how spies will penetrate interim governments, military forces, and communication networks as Gaza transitions to a monitored peace.
Challenges Ahead — Extremism on Both Sides: Bryan warns that both Palestinian and Israeli extremists could attempt to sabotage the deal, but Trump's leverage with Arab governments makes large-scale rebellion unlikely.
What It Means for America: A lasting peace could allow U.S. forces to withdraw from the Middle East, focus on China and Latin America, and enable the deportation of radicalized Palestinians and Islamists from the U.S. and Europe. "If this holds," Bryan says, "it's good for Israel, good for Arabs, and good for us. Bravo, Mr. President."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover a major breakthrough in Alaska's mineral wars, a new AI scandal in Silicon Valley, the collapse of illegal crossings at America's southern border, a Supreme Court showdown over free speech and therapy laws, shocking new evidence of Biden family corruption, major trade and infrastructure deals from Central Asia to Africa, and the hidden health threat of microplastics.
From Alaska's mining roads to Kazakhstan's railways and Germany's labs, today's brief connects America's economic revival to global corruption and the future of health and technology.
Trump Greenlights Alaska's Ambler Road and Trilogy Metals Stake: President Trump approved a fast-track permit for the Ambler Road and bought a 10 percent federal stake in Trilogy Metals, unlocking Alaska's copper, cobalt, and germanium reserves. The Ambler Mining District could make America less dependent on China for critical minerals. Bryan calls it "the most underreported but crucial story of the week."
AI Model Claude Knows When It's Being Tested: Anthropic's Claude chatbot told researchers, "I think you're testing me," revealing situational self-awareness and manipulation patterns similar to OpenAI's "scheming" models. Bryan warns, "The machines are beginning to recognize us — and that should terrify everyone."
Illegal Border Crossings Hit 50-Year Low: CBS confirms crossings are at their lowest since 1970, with Trump's monthly totals down to 9,000 compared to Biden's 238,000 per month last year. Bryan argues the data "proves Biden's border crisis was a choice — a deliberate policy of demographic change."
Supreme Court Hears Conversion Therapy Free Speech Case: Evangelical therapist Kaley Chiles challenged Colorado's ban on discussing faith-based counseling. Both conservative and liberal justices, including Elena Kagan, seemed to side with her on First Amendment grounds. Bryan recalls the 1977 ACLU defense of Nazi speech in Skokie, noting, "It's conservatives defending free speech now, not liberals."
Biden Family Corruption in Ukraine and Romania: A declassified CIA report shows Ukrainian officials viewed Joe Biden's 2015 visit as "evidence of U.S. double standards on corruption" given Hunter's Burisma ties. Days earlier, Hunter and James Biden tried cutting a land deal in Romania tied to criminal charges. Bryan says, "This was a criminal racket, not a family — and they pardoned themselves."
Trump's $4.2 Billion Locomotive Deal with Kazakhstan: Forbes reports the U.S. will sell 300 locomotives to Kazakhstan's Wabtec, while Trump's new "TRIPP Corridor" from Asia to Europe blocks China's Belt and Road trade route. "The White House is playing chess in Central Asia — one rail deal at a time," Bryan notes.
Africa's Diamond Collapse and U.S. Opportunity: As Botswana's diamond market crashes, Trump eyes a rail deal connecting Zambia to Botswana to secure uranium and rare earths for U.S. industry.
Ukraine Using Drones Supplied by Kyiv Against Russia in Mali: AFP confirms Ukrainian intelligence is arming rebels, some tied to al Qaeda and ISIS, in Mali to target Russian and Chinese contractors.
German Scientists Warn on Microplastics and Gut Health: Researchers found that plastics change gut bacteria in ways resembling depression and cancer. Bryan invites listener feedback: "Better we talk about this now — before we learn the hard way."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover an alarming report on Chinese illegal immigrants working as truck drivers inside the U.S., Beijing's growing cyber warfare networks, Trump's possible use of the Insurrection Act, and global political upheavals from France to Japan, with a surprising touch of good news about whales.
From container trucks to coups and conservation, today's brief connects threats on American soil to global movements shaping our future.
Chinese Illegal Truckers on U.S. Roads: A new investigation by the Daily Caller reveals that illegal immigrants from China are now driving trucks across America with commercial licenses obtained through a nonprofit tied to Beijing's United Front Work Department. The organization, CATOU, boasts a 100 percent pass rate for drivers who often cannot read English or road signs. Bryan warns that this, combined with China's control of port cranes and containerized missile systems, creates "an existential threat sitting in plain sight."
China's SIM Farm Cyber Operation: Law enforcement uncovered 300,000 Chinese-controlled SIM cards in New York capable of sending 30 million texts per minute, enough to crash city networks and emergency systems. The devices were linked to China's intelligence agency, the MSS, which has used similar systems to target U.S. officials and conservative figures. "No more scalpels. Chainsaws only," Bryan urges, calling for mass visa revocations and deportations.
Trump's Insurrection Act Warning: President Trump hinted he may invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy federal troops in cities like Portland and Chicago, where Democrat officials refuse to protect federal officers. The move recalls Lincoln's 1861 use of the law to quell rebellion. "These are acts of insurrection," Bryan says, citing violence against ICE agents and the left's normalization of lawlessness.
Global Political Upheaval: France's fifth prime minister in two years resigned after another budget collapse, while populists swept elections in the Czech Republic and Japan shifted right under new conservative leader Sanae Takaichi. Meanwhile, Michael Bloomberg announced a $50 million campaign to "fight populism" by grooming leftist city leaders worldwide.
A Moment of Reflection and Hope: On the anniversary of Hamas's October 7 attacks, Bryan offered prayers for Israeli and Palestinian victims alike, urging peace as Trump's team nears a possible Gaza deal. In Argentina, scientists shared rare good news: the southern right whale population has rebounded to 4,700 and continues to grow. "We celebrate the whales," Bryan concludes, "and feel bad for the humans who may go extinct if we're not careful."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Monday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, we cover violent new attacks on ICE agents in Chicago and Portland, Trump's plan to federalize National Guard units, the shutdown of apps used to track ICE officers, a cash offer to illegal immigrants, a shocking Virginia political scandal, and global updates from Greenland to Ukraine, the UK, Gaza, and Africa.
Quick hits to launch your week with the facts shaping America and the world.
Violent Weekend on the Immigration Front: Radical activists in Chicago used phone apps to track ICE agents, boxed them in with ten cars, and rammed a federal vehicle. When the lead agitator, Marimar Martínez, brandished a gun, ICE agents fired back, lightly injuring her. Chicago police refused to assist, with supervisors citing sanctuary city laws. Trump responded by federalizing 300 Illinois National Guardsmen, saying, "If the governor won't protect federal officers, I will."
Portland Judge Blocks Federal Guard Deployment: After months of violence and arson targeting federal buildings, Oregon's Judge Karin Immergut refused to let Trump deploy 200 Oregon Guardsmen. The White House will instead send California troops. City council member Angelita Morillo, an admitted Marxist, has been helping activists buy burner phones to coordinate attacks.
Apple and Google Drop Anti-ICE Apps: Following a Trump DOJ order, Apple and Google removed apps used to crowdsource ICE agent locations. Developers and activists called the move authoritarian, but DHS pointed to the weekend's attempted murder of ICE officers as proof the apps "facilitate organized violence, not free speech."
Trump Expands "Pay to Leave" Immigration Program: Migrants aged 14 to 17 who entered illegally will now be offered $2,500 and a plane ticket home. Critics say the policy "coerces" children, but Trump argues it's cheaper and safer than detaining or deporting them. Reuters reports Guatemalan parents still refuse to take their kids back, preferring they keep working in the U.S.
Virginia Democrat Calls for Murder of GOP Speaker and Children: Attorney General candidate Jay Jones faces backlash for texting that Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert and his two young children "should be shot." Fellow Democrat Abigail Spanberger defended him, saying, "Let those without sin cast the first stone." Bryan warns, "The Left is openly dehumanizing children now — what happens when words become policy?"
Greenland's Rare Earth Deal with the U.S.: The Trump administration is negotiating an investment partnership with Greenland's Critical Metals Corp to secure rare earth minerals and limit Chinese control. Bryan calls it "the front line of America's Mineral Wars."
China Feeding Intel to Russia in Ukraine: Beijing is providing targeting data that includes U.S.-owned facilities, dragging out the conflict to drain American stockpiles.
UK Scandal Over Chinese Spies: British PM Keir Starmer quashed espionage charges against two Chinese-linked researchers by refusing to label China an "enemy." Bryan warns it's time to "pull the plug on Five Eyes intel sharing" until the UK gets serious about national security.
Trump's Gaza Peace Plan and Netanyahu's Pressure: Envoy Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushner head to Cairo to finalize a deal requiring Hamas to disarm or face "complete obliteration." Netanyahu faces backlash from his coalition, which could collapse if Hamas keeps any political power.
Nigeria's Christian Genocide Expands: Islamist militants from Boko Haram and ISIS killed hundreds in northern Nigeria, driving thousands into Cameroon. Bryan warns Biden's CIA may be indirectly aiding jihadists to attack Russian and Chinese targets.
Medical News — Parkinson's and Back Pain Relief: South Korean researchers linked tooth bacteria to Parkinson's risk, while a German cannabis extract eased chronic back pain. Bryan reminds listeners, "Keep brushing and walking — the mind and body are more connected than we realize."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, we cover the third day of the government shutdown, new polling on political violence, a Minnesota immigration bust, shocking revelations in the Epstein case, crackdowns on unsafe foreign truck drivers, the rising cost of AI power demands, European drone threats, the UK's immigration and crime crisis, a free speech case in Switzerland, a new defense pact in the Pacific, and the science of living to 117.
Quick hits to set your radar for the weekend.
Day Three of the Shutdown: Trump celebrated, "I can't believe the Radical Left Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity." He is targeting Democrat-leaning agencies and clawing back billions from NYC's subway system and Biden's green energy projects to fund AI and mineral wars.
Poll on Political Violence: NPR and PBS found 30 percent of Americans say violence may be necessary to "steer the country in the right direction," up from 19 percent last year. Bryan warns that equals 60 million people.
Immigration Fraud Bust in Minnesota: Operation Twin Shield uncovered 275 likely cases of sham marriages, fake jobs, and forged documents. Nationwide "neighborhood checks" are set to follow.
Epstein Blackmail Claims: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, a former neighbor, said Epstein's massage room "was on video" and called him "the greatest blackmailer ever." His account echoes Cindy McCain's 2020 remark that "we all knew" what Epstein was doing.
Foreign Truck Driver Crackdown: DOT Secretary Sean Duffy imposed strict new visa, immigration, and English requirements after finding 25 percent of California CDLs are bogus. Trucking groups applauded the move.
AI Sends Power Bills Higher: Bloomberg reports AI data centers pushed utility costs up $16.1 billion in the PJM grid, raising household bills. But Johns Hopkins found AI can predict surgical complications better than doctors, offering life-saving potential.
Russia's Shadow Fleet and Drone Threats: France detained a Russian oil tanker tied to drones buzzing Denmark. Bryan warns adversaries could launch drones or missiles from disguised ships off U.S. shores.
UK's Crisis of Immigration and Crime: A Syrian named Jihad al-Shamie attacked a synagogue, while a British blogger was arrested for posting "F- Hamas." Seven Pakistani men were sentenced for grooming gangs, and the NHS briefly praised first-cousin marriage before pulling the report.
Swiss Man Jailed for Free Speech: He refused to pay fines for calling gender ideology a "mental illness" and chose 10 days in jail. Bryan notes Trump and Vance are right to warn Europe is committing "national suicide."
Pacific Defense Pact: Papua New Guinea signed a deal with Australia, reversing a drift toward Beijing and securing vital waters for U.S. and allied navies.
Life at 117: Spanish researchers studied a woman who lived to 117, crediting strong gut bacteria, olive oil, daily walks, and plain yogurt. Bryan quipped, "Unless you live in Portland, where Antifa will get you first."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump's viral sombrero memes targeting Democrats, the Pentagon's crackdown on leaks, fresh warnings for U.S. farmers and ranchers, the massive energy demands of AI, the arrest of Nord Stream saboteurs, Ukraine's push for Tomahawk missiles, Chinese mafia violence in Italy, Trump's Gaza peace deal, and even a rare case of good news about China's green energy trash.
From mariachi memes to missile wars and mafia battles, today's brief connects the headlines shaping America and the world.
Trump's Sombrero Memes Spark Outrage: The White House posted AI videos mocking Democrats with sombreros and mustaches as they demanded $1 trillion for health care, part of which would go to migrants. VP JD Vance shrugged, saying, "Hakeem Jeffries said it was racist… but I honestly don't even know what that means." GOP commentators called the memes "politically genius" for using humor to spotlight taxpayer costs.
Pentagon Orders Polygraphs to Stop Leaks: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth now requires NDAs and random polygraph tests for all staff and contractors to crack down on leaks. Bryan cautions that "polygraphs are tools, not an oracle," recalling how his first CIA test flagged him for feeling guilty about stealing junior high concession stand quarters.
Screwworm Outbreak Worsens in Mexico: Cases jumped 32 percent in September to 6,700, including 5,000 in cattle. Ranchers warn the deadly parasite could soon hit Texas and drive beef prices higher. Bryan urges, "Stock up now."
Farmers and Trump Clash Over Argentina Soybeans: After Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent bailed out President Milei, Argentina sold $7 billion in soybeans to China, undercutting U.S. farmers. Trump promised a bailout using tariff funds, but Democrats are blocking the deal. Bryan calls it "a Mexican standoff" with farmers caught in the middle.
AI Revolution Requires 44 New Nuclear Reactors: The IEEE reports U.S. AI demand will equal the output of 44 new nuclear power plants within five years. Russia remains the top uranium supplier. Trump is expanding coal leases and equity stakes in mineral and energy companies, while Bryan slams Silicon Valley's AGI obsession: "Give me a little buddy I can train each day… not a know-it-all chatbot filled with junk data."
Nord Stream Saboteur Arrested in Ukraine Plot: German officials detained a Ukrainian tied to the 2022 pipeline bombing, allegedly ordered by General Valery Zaluzhny. Defense may argue the sabotage was a legitimate act of war.
Ukraine Pushes for Tomahawk Missiles: Trump leans toward sending 1,500-mile Tomahawks for "kind-for-kind" strikes. Putin warned it would make America a direct combatant, with U.S. CIA and Special Forces bases likely targets. Bryan warns Russia could also strike from Mexico or use saboteurs posing as asylum seekers.
Chinese Mafia Wars in Italy: Gun battles erupt in Prato as Chinese gangs fight over the $115 million hanger market for Italy's fast fashion industry. The city's Chinese population exploded from 500 in 1990 to 40,000 today, fueling Beijing-backed mafia influence.
Hamas Has Hours to Accept Trump's Gaza Plan: Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt told Hamas to accept Trump's deal or lose support. Turkey may gain F-35 jets and Egypt may see Trump pause recognition of Somaliland in return. Bryan says, "We are on a knife's edge… pray for peace."
China Finds a Use for Dirty Green Energy Trash: Beijing is planting old wind turbine blades in the Gobi Desert to block sand dunes, creating a "New Great Wall of China." Bryan admits, "It makes me sad to report it, but this one actually works."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover the federal government shutdown, Pete Hegseth's blunt message to America's generals, new immigration updates from Chicago to Central America, and surprising global research on obesity.
From furloughs in Washington to fat generals at the Pentagon, today's brief connects politics, security, and science shaping America's future.
Federal Government Shutdown Begins: Negotiations collapsed after Democrats demanded $1 trillion for health care tied to Biden's immigration surge. Trump warned, "We can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible," and began cutting federal workers, including 100 FBI agents. Essential services like Social Security remain open, while departments like Labor shutter. Bryan notes, "This shutdown is ultimately about an argument I thought we settled last November."
Pete Hegseth Calls Out Fat Generals: The Secretary of War unveiled a 10-point plan to toughen the military, starting with weight and fitness standards for all ranks. "It is tiring to look out… at any formation and see fat troops," Hegseth said. The plan includes tougher boot camp, one combat standard for men and women, and no more promotions based on quotas. Trump joked, "Pete gave a great speech… but I don't want him to get so good I can't go on after that."
Immigration Updates from Chicago to Central America: Four leftist protesters attacked an ICE facility in Chicago, one threatening, "I'll f------ kill you right now." In Portland, illegals shined lasers at a CBP helicopter. In Iowa, ICE arrested a school superintendent who was in the country illegally and registered to vote. Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports migrants are sending record remittances home — $161 billion projected this year — fearing deportation. Bryan says, "Migrants are getting while the getting is good."
Obesity Campaigns Fail Worldwide: A new Lancet study found that none of 17 childhood obesity programs worked, even with parental training and nutrition education. French researchers concluded rising caloric intake is the real driver, echoing why drugs like Ozempic work by cutting appetite. Bryan quips, "I put a new picture of Pete Hegseth on my fridge. I've already lost five pounds."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump's proposed Gaza peace plan, a mysterious U.S. tanker deployment to Europe, the Pentagon's scramble for missiles and drones in a possible China war, and Russia and China's unraveling fortunes in Africa.
From a potential breakthrough in the Middle East to covert battles in Africa's deserts, today's brief explores the fights shaping America's security.
Trump's Gaza Peace Plan Gains Arab Backing: For the first time since the October 7 attacks, Israel, Trump, and key Arab nations have united behind a deal. Hamas must release hostages, disarm, or go into exile while Gaza governance shifts to a Peace Board overseen by Trump and regional leaders. "This is basically the final offer to Hamas: accept it or death," Bryan explains. Even Arab allies like Qatar and Saudi Arabia have signed on, leaving Iran isolated.
U.S. Tankers Deploy to Europe, Iran or Russia in the Crosshairs: Twelve U.S. refueling tankers flew to Britain, echoing prelude movements before Trump's strike on Iran earlier this year. Possibilities include targeting Iran's Pick-Axe Mountain nuclear site, sending a warning to Putin after drones crossed NATO skies, or simply NATO's Cobra Warrior exercise. Bryan notes, "Intel officers always ask, is the juice worth the squeeze?"
Pentagon Short on Missiles and Drones for China: The U.S. has burned through a quarter of its missile interceptors and lags years behind on drone programs. Chinese subcontractors are even supplying critical parts for American weapons. Trump is pushing a mineral war strategy to rebuild U.S. supply chains. Bryan warns, "We don't have the cards for a quick victory in Taiwan," and Zelenskyy is offering U.S. training in exchange for Tomahawk missiles Washington can barely spare.
Russia and China Struggle in Africa's Sahel: Islamist rebels are killing Russian contractors and Chinese workers across Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso. Moscow's Africa Corps has failed to protect regimes after Wagner's collapse, while Beijing's mines and projects are under attack. Elon Musk's Starlink is fueling rebel communications, and some suspect CIA or Ukrainian forces may be quietly aiding the insurgents. Bryan admits, "I can absolutely envision a scenario where a CIA officer recruits an al Qaeda scumbag to kill Russians and Chinese for us."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Monday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, we cover the tragic LDS church attack in Michigan, Trump's budget showdown in Washington, new federal action against Antifa, updates on James Comey and John Brennan, immigration battles over Guatemalan children, China's deepening grip on the Pacific, and promising medical research out of California.
Quick hits to launch your week with the facts shaping America and the world.
Michigan LDS Church Attack: A man drove his car into an LDS church, set it ablaze, and killed members at gunpoint. At least 11 were shot and three are confirmed dead. Early reports suggest the killer's mother was a church member. Bryan calls it "a very hard morning in Michigan" and urges prayers for the families.
Trump's Budget Showdown and Supreme Court Ruling: With a government shutdown looming, Trump meets lawmakers knowing he holds the stronger hand. "Trump wins in either case," the Washington Post observed, since a shutdown gives him unilateral power to cut programs and staff. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court ruled he can withhold $4 billion in foreign aid, pushing executive power back to Jeffersonian levels.
Antifa Declared Terror Group and Troops Sent to Portland: Days after Trump designated Antifa as domestic terrorists, he ordered 2,000 National Guardsmen to Portland. "I am authorizing Full Force, if necessary," Trump posted, after repeated ICE attacks. AG Pam Bondi said, "We're witnessing a new era of political violence," vowing to use Joint Terrorism Task Forces to dismantle leftist extremists.
Comey Indictment and Brennan Warnings: James Comey's indictment centers on whether he lied under oath about leaking FBI documents. His own lawyer admitted to helping him "get information out" to the press. Trump says "there will be others" prosecuted, with Brennan admitting he may be next but insisting his actions were "consistent with the law."
Guatemalan Parents Reject Their Children: Tens of thousands of kids trafficked north under Biden remain in U.S. custody after Guatemalan parents refused to take them back. Bryan asks if taxpayers should now become "the world's orphanage."
China Expands Grip in the Pacific: Trump considers shifting U.S. policy to "oppose" Taiwanese independence, aligning closer with Xi. Beijing secured a policing deal in Vanuatu and continues buying influence in the Solomons. Reuters reports China is even training villagers to spy on neighbors, reviving Mao-era tactics.
Medical News from California: UC Irvine and UC San Diego researchers reversed vision loss in mice using polyunsaturated fatty acid injections, opening potential therapies for age-related macular degeneration. Bryan jokes, "If you're the first to ditch reader glasses, I demand you tell me about it."

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, we cover the indictment of James Comey, a national DOJ investigation into George Soros, Pete Hegseth's extraordinary call for all generals to return to Virginia, Trump's warning to Democrats about pushing conservatives too far, and headline updates on tariffs, green energy, AI, and global flashpoints.
Quick hits to set your radar for the weekend.
James Comey Indicted: The former FBI director faces charges of false statements and obstruction of justice. Trump pushed prosecutors to act before the statute of limitations expired, insisting Comey's role in Crossfire Hurricane was "a coup" against the elected government. Bryan argued, "James Comey deserves the death penalty… it would be a righteous and correct judgment."
DOJ Targets Soros's Open Society Foundations: At least seven U.S. attorneys will probe Soros funding networks for alleged terrorism support, arson, fraud, and racketeering. Bryan compares the crackdown to federal efforts in the 1960s and 70s against the Weather Underground.
Pentagon Showdown Next Week: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth summoned every U.S. general and admiral worldwide to a meeting in Virginia as Trump demands a 20 percent cut in four-star officers. Politico reports many senior leaders are unhappy with the rebrand to the Department of War.
Trump Warns Democrats on Violence: After MSNBC and the John Brown Gun Club suggested ICE agents "deserved" recent attacks, Trump warned, "The Left better not get the Right energized because it won't be good for the Left."
Turning Point Rejects Kimmel's 'Apology': Spokesman Andrew Kolve said, "What we need is, 'I'm sorry, I lied, I was wrong, and I won't do it again.' Otherwise… his political agenda is more important than the life of my friend who was just taken from us."
Dallas Shooter Update: The killer searched "Charlie Kirk shot video" while planning his ICE attack, suggesting a copycat killing. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed he used Democrat-developed tracking apps to stalk ICE agents.
NYC Worker Punished for Helping ICE: A city staffer was retrained after reporting two criminal illegals to ICE, violating sanctuary laws that protect even convicted felons from deportation. Bryan called it "diabolical."
Tariff Cheaters and Whirlpool's Complaint: Appliance makers are under DOJ investigation for undervaluing imports to dodge tariffs, costing U.S. producers.
Green Energy Failures: California's $2.2 billion Ivanpah solar farm is shutting down after killing 6,000 birds annually. Bryan added, "That's wonderful news for the birds."
AI Revolution Goes Federal: Elon Musk's Grok chatbot is now the U.S. government's official AI system, including for secret agencies, despite studies showing AI is unreliable and prone to lying.
