If MARVEL comics or the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE is the world outside or window, why do so many people have an issue with what other people see out of their windows? From our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, to the Captain America debate (Die mad! Steve Rogers is out, and Sam Wilson got the shield now!), to even how we remember Chadwick Boseman. The fandom has a serious issue with representation. And we are going to talk about it.

With the words of James Patterson not even 60 days old as a relates to White men and the current permutation of publishing, it is essential to examine just how detrimental those statements are! Just as Walter Mosley said as a relates to how we as minority people exist in the world, we have to exist in the fiction also! We have to confront these ideologies when we find them, because these people know what they’re doing.

it is always easier to tell people to trust their own talents versus believing in your own!
