During Gamescom Opening Night Live, 12 Minutes got a surprising cast announcement. Daisy Ridley, James McAvoy and Willem Dafoe have officially joined the cast. The game has also been re-confirmed for 2020 and will have an Xbox Series X version of the game as well!

Microsoft have announced that they will be holding a Xbox Japan press conference at the opening of the 2020 Tokyo Game Show with new game announcements from Japanese devs as well as updates on Flight Simulator, other previously announced games and Minecraft in Japan. It will air at 8AM EST on September 24th in Japanese and it was confirmed to feature no next gen news.

Microsoft have announced The New Xbox Experience, a re-design of the UI across all devices that will increase speed of use across all Xbox products. The first of these updates will be the upcoming Xbox store update, but the dashboard and other apps will be updated at a future date (it looks alot like the Xbox app on PC). Gotham Knights, the new Batman game from WB Games Montreal, has been announced! It will be coming in 2021 to Xbox One and Series X and is an action RPG featuring Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood.
