Since March 2nd is Texas Independence Day, I am talking about how Texas gained it's Independence :) and a few other things. My guest on the podcast is a native Mexican from Sonora Mexico, and my dear friend Magda Garcia. We have very interesting discussions about Mexico and Texas pretty regularly and I thought she would bring a great view point to Texas Independence Day!

This episode talks at length and in detail about miscarriage. If you are not ready to process your miscarriage or are in the process of a miscarriage please know that this may be upsetting to listen to. I am talking about this subject however because it is SO COMMON. Women you are NOT alone in dealing with this. It should not be taboo to talk about this and I want to encourage all those ladies out there that have had a miscarriage to not feel shame or be embarrassed about your miscarriage(s). Be warned, we had to stop and start a few times because we have tiny ones to deal with whilst recording :)

So Pierce and I don't do Valentine's Day so instead of giving you cutesie ideas on what to do for your man/woman I give you the very INTERESTING history of Valentine's Day. And yes I get on a soap box a little bit about why spending money on one day a year to prove to the world how much you love your significant other is stupid. BUT all in all I think everyone will find at least one thing to take away from this episode.
