Do you run ads for your business? πββοΈπΌ
If you are, then you are probably doing it the wrong way. βπ
Today's live was inspired by a consultation call I had with @biscuitcommunity a week ago about her business in 2024. π‘π
The standard ads framework people teach and follow is:
1. Advertise your product to a cold audience, hoping it converts to leads or sales. π§πΈ
2. Retarget to the website visitors and hope they will convert the 2nd or Nth time they visit your page. ππ―
Even when it works, this framework is very costly and not affordable for content creators and small business owners with restricted budgets. π°π«
The way I suggest people run their ads is simple:
1. Create content and post it organically. π±π
2. Put a small amount of money behind each piece of content (e.g. $3 or Β£3) and target video views or post engagement. ππ΅
That's it. β
Why the bloody hell, Yiannis?
I won't make any sales this way. I will just waste my money. π€·ββοΈπ₯
You post 2 pieces of content daily, more than the average content creator or small business. ππ
This would mean $6 per day on ads = $180 monthly. Right? π‘π³
With this amount of money, you will get tens of thousands of people to watch your videos and engage with your content, and I promise you some website visitors, too. π€π₯
Now, these people know your brand and business and are part of your pixel. π―π
In other words, they are not cold audiences anymore. They are warm. π₯β€οΈ
Now rinse and repeat for, let's say, 10 months. πποΈ
$1800 was spent for hundreds of thousands of people who have watched your content (probably more than once). π²π
Now it is Black Friday, and you want to promote your new sale. ποΈπ€
The only thing you need to do is to retarget to this warm audience. π―π₯
And it will be cheap. Very cheap. πΈβοΈ
And your conversions will be so much higher. ππ«
If you tried to reach the same number of people, you would have to spend 10x more money for lower conversion and probably lose money on every new client. ππ
You don't believe me?
Try it. π§ͺβ¨
You will thank me later. ππ
PS. It works with every social media platform. πβ
