I interview my teammate at Hitchings Insurance, Sarah Moyer. Sarah has had several experiences in her professional career, and along the way she has figured out what she enjoys and what she doesn't enjoy. She tried sales, and it wasn't for her. But being apart of a team is what she loves. In her role now, she enjoys helping the team reach their goals and provide the best service for the customer. When considering his career choice, Tom Gerberich knew he wanted to impact others. Education, youth ministry and marketing were degrees he was considering. After reflecting on his own upbringing, he considered the impact his youth pastor had on him and wanted to have that same impact on others. He choose youth ministry and loves being apart of kids lives. He loves supporting them during (what can be) difficult years of adolescence. A conversation with Engineering Tech, Eliot Hartzler. A decade ago, Eliot volunteered at his high school after they built a new theater. They needed help with new equipment and he stepped in as he has always enjoyed technology. He loved the experience he has in the next 3 years and decided to go into audio and video technology. After a valuable internship experience, he took his first job out of college at that company. He's been there since and he loves creating the experience for each church as they create or redesign their worship area. Great nuggets and a great story that Eliot has to share!

First interview of 2021 is a good one! I interview a friend from high school, Christian Barhite. Not wanting to accumulate debt by going to college, Christian worked full time as he took classes. He gained valuable experience managing at Dairy Queen during this time. After some praying and patience he stepped into a new position. Years later and more prayer and patience, Christian and his wife, Sarah, decide to start their own business today. Today, they manage Barhite Corporate Services together. An inspiring conversation with Christian about how the Lord has guided him in his career thus far.

What a year. It's been just over a year since I started this podcast! There's been some ups and downs but we made it! I want to thank everyone that has supported me and this show in some way during the last year. Inspiring conversation with Emma Hlad about her entrepreneurial spirit. What she realized in one semester of college took me 3 1/2 years to realize. She recognized quickly that college was for her as she struggled to find a major. After attending a photography workshop, she fell in love with the idea of having her own photography business.
