"I had no idea my daughter was buried without her head."
Have you ever heard of Job Corps? Well, it is the government's way of saying they will help youth get educated and ready for a job specific skill, or a career in full.
But let's back it up a bit.
Christa Pike had an abhorrent childhood. Born with fetal alcohol syndrome, receiving physically and sexual abuse from an early age, Christa had little support or examples of what life should be. She became riddled with behavior issues, and more than once made attempts on her own life.
Eventually she became a young adult and decided to join job corps in Knoxville, TN. She soon struck up a love interest, and a hefty jealous streak.
Finally, Christa knew her plan.
Watch or listen to Nightshift with Andrea Up Late and special "Ladies Night" cohost, Beth Lamontagne, to learn why Christa was the youngest woman sentenced to death.
