The Zelda Cast

Get ready to fight evil this week, as the gang strap in and discuss every single final boss fight with the series' big bad himself: Ganon! From Beast Ganon to Ganondorf to Calamity Ganon, we dissect what we liked from each fight, what maybe didn't work as well, and which one was the most disappointing of the bunch. With eight different fights to choose from, there's lots of meat on the bone!

Making her first ever appearance on the podcast this week is Mallo, a Zelda fanatic and photograph extraordinaire! If you're not already, make sure that you check her out over on Twitter(@mallorymphoto) and Instagram (@mallorymariephoto)!

Guess That Zelda Character is back, but there's a twist! There are only so many characters in the Zelda universe, but the locations are seemingly endless. So this time, we had to guess the Zelda location in so many questions. I say "so many" because we started off with 16 questions, and it proved to be a bit difficult for us... at least at first! So come hear us get into each other's heads and play along! Try and see if you can guess what Zelda locations each of us are thinking about for yourself!

Warning: this episode will make you hungry. This week, we have some special guests join us for a talk all about food, Zelda, and recipes! We sat down with Aime and Walter Woods and chatted about their new cookbook, The Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook! How did it come to be? How was Nintendo in this process? What inspired them to make this? What was the reaction when they surpassed their Kickstarter goal by almost 30-fold? How did they make a recipe for Dubious Food and make it taste good?! And most importantly, there's how many recipes from Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland!?

All this, plus hear Alasyn's count of getting her copy and cooking her first item: buttered apples! (Note: the feature image this week is legit from Alasyn's kitchen!)

Come join the fun, and if you're interested in checking out the book, cruise on over to their website and see the different versions of The Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook available. Plus, come and hang out in their Discord!

Strap yourself in, because this is a marathon episode dedicated to one of the most oft-forgotten about Zelda titles: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds! We are definitively ranking all 12 dungeons from the game, so there is a lot of go through! From Eastern Palace all the way to Lorule Castle and everything in between, we go in depth talking everything dungeon related!

Come listen to what dungeons ended up being our favorites. The gang were joined by Lorule Legend himself, Tony Harris, so make sure you bunker in and listen! PLUS - what do we think of the new Cadence of Hyrule DLC? All this and more!

Another week, another episode where we know not a single thing more about Breath of the Wild 2 than we did last year. That's okay though, since we did what we do best here on the Champions' Cast: speculate! This week, we asked everyone to head over to Facebook and ask a Zelda question to get a Zelda answer, and you delivered big time!

We had tons of questions to answer, including what would we undo in the Zelda series, what new mechanics Breath of the Wild 2 could introduce, what Zelda game do we think is overrated, do we think we'll ever see the Picori again, how important is lore in a Zelda game to us, and what franchise we think Nintendo values more, Mario or Zelda?

These are just some of the great question, so come hang out with us and have some laughs!
