  • Psychonautics Explained with Ben

"Anything you're not changing, you're choosing."

"Tectonic shifts in my consciousness…My ideas about how the world and the universe work were breaking apart...they were doing that because they don't work…a release from this prison in my own mind."

In todays episode we explore psychedelics as medicine. It's too easy to accumulate notions of yourself and the world that don't serve you and that can even make you sick and it takes a guided journey to uncover these things in your conscious and subconscious mind. Psychonautics is the use of entheogen plant medicine and other psychedelics as guides to navigate the depths of your heart and mind with the aim of initiating transformation. For many it is a spiritual experience that opens a person to the less tangible aspects of being human.

Today Chris is talking to Ben. Ben is more than equipped to give us great insight into the world of psychonautics, its benefits and how to navigate this path safely. They discuss, spirituality and psychology, intuition, healing, the entheogens; Kambo (frog poison), Ayahuasca, Sananga, and psilocybin, as well as MDMA.

Ben has established a Church Of Daime with his wife, where they combine the plant medicine, Ayahuasca, with Christian song and prayer. As an extension to his spiritual work, and inspired by the work of the Mankind Project, Ben has created a six month program to help guide men through powerful transformation, to push past boundaries and build trust using men's work principles and entheogens.

  • Rights Of Passage & The Mature Masculine with Tony Rezac

Today we chat with fellow men's group worker, published author, motivational speaker and body worker Tony Rezac. You'll be hard pressed to find another individual with more passion around helping elevate the frequency of men in todays society! In the late 80s, it was becoming clear that men, especially young men, weren't showing up in the world the way that men traditionally would. There was no defining moment where a boy was made to acknowledge the end of his childhood and the beginning of his manhood and the responsibilities that come with it. Instead, men could spend decades being dragged around by their emotions, hurting themselves and their families and even their communities. The mankind project was formed to address this by creating powerful opportunities for men and boys to cross the threshold into a more mature masculinity.

Tony hosts his own podcast show called Basecamp For Men, where he and his guests talk about healthy masculinity, consciousness and myth, extraterrestrials, and deep discussions on some of the narratives out there that are shaping, or trying to shape our future, for better or worse.

  • Imposter Syndrome with Dona Sarkar

"Running into imposter syndrome and overcoming that thing will make you so much more competent."

"We're more tormented by the things we didn't try that we really wanted to, than the things that we tried that we didn't like."

As the leader of Microsoft's Insider Program, author of 8 or 9 books (she's not sure), and creator and designer of the Prima Dona fashion line (#DoTheThing), Dona Sarkar doesn't seem like she's ever experienced the imposter syndrome. But she's here to share how she started as an imposter in all three of her careers and it was through that process that she found the mindset she needed to manifest her reality.

    Some of Dona's coaching includes:

    • The 'try five times' rule.
    • Graduate instead of quit.
    • Be your own best cheerleader.
    • Stagger your success.
    • Your jealousy probably isn't justified.
    • Follow your curiosity and don't scared to experiment.

Dona is the leader of Microsoft's Insider program, where millions of Windows enthusiasts preview and give feedback to Microsoft engineers, shaping future releases. Through her curiosity and experimentation, she discovered a unique entrepreneurial opportunity that created 1000 jobs in Kenya and 800 in Lagos with Microsoft offices being built in both locations.
