Lance Ebert, affectionately known to Santa Cruz locals as “Bread Boy” recounts his beginnings of selling baked goods off a dilapidated Vespa, gets honest about the lows of a crushing setback, and shares his appreciation for how a community brought his pop up baking business back from the brink and now on the rise faster than his famous focaccia.

I make 23-28% back on my money without doing an ounce of research or work. You can do it too without doing anything different in your daily life.

I just teach drum lessons through zendrumming.com and do odd jobs for extra cash.

I use the app Acorns it automatically rounds up your purchases you make on a credit or debit card and invests into a diversified portfolio.

Here are the settings I use on Acorns which get me the best results.

1. Eco-friendly ethical stocks: you need to check this box. Not only is better but those sorts of stocks will be the future.
 2. I have Acorns set to aggressive

I also have Acorns automatically add 30-60 bucks per week.

Do whatever you’re comfortable with

If you did what I've been doing for just one year without lifting a single finger you would have at least 2000 bucks in your acorns account.

I must reiterate again this is not financial advice.

Here is the affiliate link

Acorns automatically invests for you. The stock market has seen some bad down turns in the last 4 years I have used the app. But I have made money each time the stocks inevitably went back up. Patience is key.

For anyone out there thats not a huge baller like me investing is crucial to be able to break out of the life you may not want to be living and have the freedom to do the things you want.

I had the chance to sit down with the owner and sole employee of Upcycled Skate Art, Alex Wong. He seems to be infinitely chill but spends countless hours in his shop every week creating these sometimes massive pieces of art out of up-cycled skate boards and wood.

Hear about his process, projects and his uncle in this weeks episode.

Photographer Sean Mundy was one of the main reasons I started this podcast, I needed a reason to be able to pick his brain about art. I really enjoyed talking to him about his style and the places he shot some of his work. If you love dark, moody, cinematic art like I do Sean Mundy is your guy. I'm constantly in awe of him.

After reminiscing on a myriad of topics and relatable shared experiences, Jake dives into how his mindset has taken him around the world... Lucky for us, he’s more than willing to bring a camera along to capture and share the introspective moments and people he has a knack for finding.

How often is a baseball bat part of your artistic process? New Episode out today with Ceramic Artist Olivia Roe!!! Link in bio and available where you get your podcasts.

On the podcast we talked with Olivia about her journey to establishing herself as a studio potter at Floasis Studios in Santa Cruz, CA.

.

Olivia’s unrelenting efforts to find her passion are familiar to everyone who has tried their hand at something new, and we’re SO inspired by the stunning pieces that she’s deemed worthy of sparing from annihilation. Such is the standards of a self-described perfectionist, but with results like hers we can’t complain - check them out for yourself while you listen @_roeyourboatceramics!
