Today is the first episode of the podcast of the 2nd Trump term. It’s only the 5th day of the presidency and he has wasted no time taking action on immigration, student loans, the environment, and trade.Trump is certainly giving the impression of someone who is getting things done.

But let’s explore the implications of governing through executive orders, the challenges of sustaining a partisan agenda without bipartisan support, and the risks Trump faces with his slim majority in the House of Representatives. Soon though, he will have to work with the Congress to pass meaningful legislation and solve big problems.

As DOGE takes shape and looks at ways to cut spending, every dollar cut or job eliminated involves a congress district, which may make things more difficult than they imagine.

Finally – what about the Democrats? They’re fundraising saying they need money to ‘fight’- but what they really need is a vision….
