A new poll by Rasumssen shows that Trump would be Biden 51%-41% if the election were held today- a signal that Biden is not doing well. Let’s talk about that poll – does it seem accurate?

First, remember that this polling organization is GOP leaning- so there may be some skewing towards Trump. Still, even applying a 5-point skew, Trump leads.

One thing we can agree on is that this is not Biden’s finest moment.

But for those who would project that Biden is in real trouble – let’s take a breath. Yes there are very real challenges but also some very serious errors on the administration’s part. However, Biden is buoyed by the failure to recall Gavin Newsom which has created some momentum for the Democrats.

We’ll also talk about whether or not the U.S. is in decline as a world power and if the U.S. can (and should) continue to dominate world affairs.
