Is there strong consensus on the way forward and what role and responsibility does the media have to present various ideas, especially unpopular ones?

We’re having a generational debate on the the effectiveness of lockdown measures across the country and across the world. Is there only one way to address a pandemic such as this? What can we learn from how varying nations including S. Korea and Sweden have approached containment and re-opening? Is there really strong consensus on the way forward and what role and responsibility does the media have to present various ideas, especially unpopular ones?

18:45 – Decision 2020 Update

As of today, on average, Biden leads Trump by 5 1/2% points in major national polls but individual polls show Biden leading by 11% or 1% depending on who is polling – so be sure to read into the data to see WHO is being polled. Among those who disapprove of Trump – they STRONGLY disapprove – well over 50%. The fact remains that a handful of battleground states will most likely decide the election and Trump could conceivably win the electoral college while losing the popular vote by a margin of 5%.

25:00 – Attacking Obama

Do the continuous attacks by Trump on Barack Obama matter? Or is this a tactic to continue to try to keep his base motivated?
