On today's podcast episode, Jamé sits down with none other than one of her major role models and "friend" (in the words of the talent themselves), Vanessa K De Luca. At the time of this recording, Essence Communications was under fire for an article published on Medium that delved into toxic workplace structures and the lack of safe spaces for Black women in corporate America. As companies and institutions have fought to continue to expand DEI initiatives specifically for BIPOC audiences, these conversations are more critical than ever.
