Don't get me wrong – there is nothing wrong with working that 9-5, sending off that tweet or posting that flick for the 'gram, but remember that in a world where content is king but people are always shifting the needle in response to COVID-19, you want to protect your legacy and your work.

When I built a fashion platform, I did it to stand out. Now, I can use it to open the doors that once were closed on me. Always work with your future in mind.

In today's episode, we sat down and chatted it up with Khalid Briggs, a creative director and stylist based in NYC. I've admired Khalid humble-yet-assertive stance on fashion for years and knew that he could speak to the power of doing the work and forging your own path in fashion. I especially appreciated how he discussed the cumulative nature of fashion and how you can learn so much in other categories of your life that then apply to your craft.
