In this episode, we learn about mental wellness from the perspective of philosophy and psychology. We hear things about the mind, wellness, and other things.
The question is, what is mental unwellness? Gaone says, "There's no health without mental health and not suffering from any physical illness does not equate to being healthy"
Imagine you have 2 dogs, one friendly and the other wild. Which one will you want to feed? the wild or friendly? Well, it all depends on what you want. That's how our mind works. we all have sub-personalities. The one we feed is what grows.
Desmond also spoke about self-deception, stop telling yourself you are okay the way you are. No! you are not. You have the capability to achieve more than you can. You have an enemy, that enemy is yourself. You have to learn to take responsibility.

"Take the experiences from the past, use them to make your life in the present better, and create a future for yourself using both the past and the present and remember that the human being is a being that is capable of bargaining with the future!" - Desmond Buasu.
According to Kierkegaard's existential stages of life, there are three stages. These are the aesthetic, ethical, and religious stages respectively. The aesthetic stage is characterized by pleasure, a sense of emptiness, and enjoyment. The ethical stage is characterized by duty and a sense of commitment. The religious stage is characterized by taking the leap of faith and leaving it all in God's hands.
In this episode, Desmond talks about life from different philosophies and how we can learn to make our lives better by learning to be more self-aware and then start this journey of true spirituality which begins with full consciousness.
